Major additional content warning for hebephilia specifically.

Horrifyingly disturbing and graphic to say the least. The writing style isn’t bad, but the graphic sex scenes between an adult and minor are defintiely a lot and I can’t even blame this book for being banned in multiple places. It’s a tough listen/read especially from the POV of someone who is undoubtedly not redeemable

Definitely was addicting to listen to, I definitely understand why there was a ton of hype around it. But I didn’t always love the writing style or the actual character personalities

The fact that no one is looking for Nate at the end of the book is wildddddd. Also I thought something would come out of Addie breaking into Kenzie’s house but I guess not🧍🏽‍♀️

On my first reread / first listen of this, it’s still as amazing as I remember it when reading it the first time

Read for sci-fi/fantasy book club✨

I can see why people regard this as good sci-fi literature, especially for its exploration/commentary on sex/gender and the year it was published, but I think it just wasn't really for me. I love how sci-fi writers are so capable of creating their own expansive worlds with its own religions, governments, languages, and the world of Gethen here is no exception to how amazingly complex it is.

Did I read all 100 pages? Yes. Did I understand all 100 pages? No. Do I one day want to get a physical copy to cut up the pages and try to solve the mystery of the order myself? Absolutely.

3 ⭐️ solely for the concept of this book, thanks to whoever messed up the order of the pages, I love puzzles🙏🏽

Snow lands on top.

Yeah but then maybe one day that snow will melt🤪

Love Snow’s background which made me despise him more and love Lucy Gray who definitely deserved better than him 💔

I did not read this on the beach but this book is such a beach read, I LOVED it. It’s a fun concept and I love it for what it is, a generally lighthearted rom com
