Read for sci-fi/fantasy book club✨
I can see why people regard this as good sci-fi literature, especially for its exploration/commentary on sex/gender and the year it was published, but I think it just wasn't really for me. I love how sci-fi writers are so capable of creating their own expansive worlds with its own religions, governments, languages, and the world of Gethen here is no exception to how amazingly complex it is.
