this made my heart ache and I cried about the tree we lost at home because it fell on our roof this year and is now just a stump. It was a huge tree and I wonder what it would say if it could tell it’s story like ! Who planted it? Was it a house when they did? (I live in a place that famously used to be fruit orchards) I just !! My heart !!!

this is so good n such a quick but moving read. I loved it!! I cried!! I wanna read it to everyone lol

I read a short story “That One” (1942) published within this book. It is quite short, only 4 pages and goes from page 117-120 of the book. I read it as part of WSDT16 socialist feminism in a global context. I am v confused lol

It was very well done and written I was definitely invested but wow. Not everything can be a happy ending I guess.. this just maybe felt a little too real and relevant for me. Enjoyed it — don’t know that u could read it again and don’t know if I’d recommend it or at least I def wouldn’t unless someone was in a decent headspace lol.

Devastating damn but such is life.
