A Rebel and Her Cause: The Life and Work of Rashid Jahan by Rakhshanda Jalil
Did not finish book. Stopped at 2%.
I read a short story “That One” (1942) published within this book. It is quite short, only 4 pages and goes from page 117-120 of the book. I read it as part of WSDT16 socialist feminism in a global context. I am v confused lol
Moderate: Ableism, Violence, Colonisation, and Classism
This short story has themes of whorephobia, ableism, and classism. Read it for class, be warned it’s P gross in its language and there’s no easy / clear resolution or redemption or even apology / acknowledgement lol. Idk short stories maybe arent for me!
