If you’re looking for a girl villain + good boy, this is the book for you.
Very action-packed & interesting to say the least.
Please heed TW cos some parts will make you feel icky.
What’s more interesting is how Veronica educates us about ASPD (Antisocial Personality Disorder). As a reader, I appreciate that so much. & to see how she brought the characters to live, is brilliant!
Will definitely be continuing this series.

"I just love her ... I love her with her obsessive tendencies and her stubborn streak. I love her with her devotion and selflessness because I don't believe for a moment that she dosen't feel love for me. Not when she just put her life on the line to help fulfil my wish."

Bianca, a trained assassin at 13, marries the man of her dream by manipulating and pretending to be the perfect wife and eventually got exposed after 3 years of marriage. In her defense, she did it because she love her husband very much and wanted to protect him at all cost.
Heavy on plot and I wish they had more character development. FMC and MMC clearly needed to work on their relationship and marriage but too much was going on. I like the premise but at some point, the characters are not as enjoyable anymore. Bianca was interesting at first, but sometimes she just came on as arrogant and not very smart. And Theo is kind of just bland. Honestly, if you dated and married someone for five years and didn't realize she's a sociopath, it's kind of on you.

Bianca and Theo
Thank you to the author, Veronica Lancet, Chaotic Influencers, and team for the advanced reader’s copy.

This book is a high-energy, plot-driven romantic thriller that sweeps you into a dark and intriguing world. The unique storyline and engaging writing style make it a captivating read, though the main characters might not be everyone’s cup of tea.
Bianca, a sociopathic assassin leading a double life, is a character you’ll either love or hate. Some might find her intense and hard to relate to, while others will admire her fierce protectiveness and determination.
Theo, the Police Commissioner, is another mixed bag. His savior complex and obsession with Bianca's purity can be annoying, and his hypocrisy—demanding honesty from Bianca while hiding his own secrets—makes him tough to warm up to. He often feels like a weak match for Bianca’s strong personality.
Vlad, Bianca’s best friend, is a bright spot in the story. His dark humor and entertaining presence add a lot of fun and some of the most memorable moments in the book.
Even if the main characters aren’t your favorites, the plot is so gripping you won’t be able to put it down. The novel combines a mafia storyline with well-developed side characters, hinting at more stories to come. The balance between romance and plot leans more towards the plot, and while the romance could use more buildup, the twists and turns, along with some spicy moments at the beginning, make for an exciting read.
In the end, this book takes you on a wild ride through Bianca and Theo’s twisted romance, full of secrets and surprises. If you’re in the mood for a tough, complex female lead and an unpredictable plot, give this book a try.

I was not comfortable reading first pov narration. It was very weird
Theo accepting Bianca was a bit easy. Like he was made into this simple buy and suddle he was into this kinky shit and was okay with bianca. In my opinion. Bianc's character felt ,ore fleshed out than his.
Bianca her character was well done. She alone carried the novel forward.
I wanted to see Theo more as NYPD Chief Commissioner but all he did was run after that villain J guy. Jo police action

loved bianca as a bad ass female assassin and theo/adrian was the perfect partner for her. loved the friendship between bianca and vlad, two deranged killer best friends, i mean i was literally obsessed with them. there was tons of action and drama in this book but tbh, the format had me confused at times. the way the author wrote made it confusing as to who was speaking when and it threw me off during multiple conversations. the writing in general wasn't the best but it was still an entertaining read!

Just yes. I LOVE Bianca. She is chaos, sweet, unapologetic and deadly.
