I... I'm very conflicted. There were things I loved about this book, and things that made me want to just put it down.
Like, for a 400 page book–I can't believe I'm saying this–I wanted more. Not in a "I just couldn't put it down and need more" kind of way, but in a "this somehow doesn't feel fully developed" kind of way. A lot of the parts of the story that I wished weren't rushed were, and vice versa. The pacing felt very weird at times.
And I read the re-edited version. It was my first read, so I don't know what changed from before, but I feel like I definitely wouldn't have finished this book before it was reworked if this is what we got after a redo.
It wasn't bad, and I like that the author didn't shy away from the dark aspects of this world that's been built, but I feel like I'm going to go into the next books in the series with a bit of skepticism. Though I liked the end. Even though that was one of the parts I wish weren't as rushed as it was.

4⭐️ This book was crazy but I still loved it. There was always something going on so the book went pretty quickly and kept me engaged.

it’s not a book where i’m like WOWWOWOW but it’s a fun time the writing wasn’t that good to be honest but the story and the characters kept me going and i ended up liking it if you have some free time and nothing better to do this is a good read
Graphic: Drug use and Gun violence

I loved this book, my first from this author. I went in quite nervous as I started Book 3 and was quite alarmed at how the book opened. After reading a couple of pages I then found out that although each book features a different couple they are not standalone. So I went back to book 0.5 with Pink and Theo then started this book. I couldn't put it down.
I really loved the h. She was so unique and badass. I think she is one of my my favourite heriones of all time. The H annoyed me at first because he was being hypocritical. When he discovered the real Bianca he felt betrayed which to an extent was fair, however it didn't seem like he tried to actually get to know her. He just liked the persona she invented to be which further reinforced to her that she could not be herself. He did grow once all their secrets were out in the open and I was very happy with their HEA.

This was a book with a complicated story that had so many twists, turns and bumps on the way that felt like being on a rollercoaster in a haunted house at the same time. Wow! It was unexpected in so many ways, it was funny and gory at the same time, with romance thrown in the mix. I liked it, I believe this was the first book I’ve read by the author.
