I loved this book, it's easy autumnal romcom fun and was exactly the vibe I needed at the time I needed it - that makes it a five star read for me. It's got the bickering main couple (big fan), magic that easily fits into an otherwise modern world (as someone whose favourite series is Charmed, this is also a big win), a cute small town setting (as a Gilmore Girls lover this hits the sweet spot), with incredible supporting characters - Gwyn, you're the best I love you.

It gave me autumn feels in early March, and wrapped my heart in a gentle hug with its tea-and-pumpkin-patch atmosphere. I love these messy (and often stupid) characters with my whole heart, thoroughly enjoyed the magical hijinks, and thought it well balanced between action and emotional reflection.

The Ex Hex was a decent, easy read. There were things I really enjoyed but also aspects I didn’t like as much. I enjoyed the enemies/exes to lovers romance between Vivienne and Rhys, the adventure they go on to get rid of the curse, and the sarcastic british humour by Rhys. I also loved the Welsh aspect to the novel, as I haven’t really seen that too much in other books I’ve read or heard of. One thing that confused me at the beginning was the setting - I couldn’t tell where the author wanted it to take place, Wales, or Georgia, USA.

Witchy adorableness! This is a cute second chance romance with just a dash of paranormalcy to make it interesting. I loved how clearly Vivienne and Rhys loved each other, and that the drama came not from good ol' miscommunication, but from much more mature themes; in fact, the way they both went about their second chance -- "I'm a grown adult, why shouldn't I get to sleep with this person I find attractive?" -- was so refreshing. No angst, just fun, paranormal drama to up the stakes. And I loved the cozy, Gilmore Girls-esque town (they had a Founder's Day, for pete's sake -- though sans punch) that became the background. Perhaps this book would be even better around Halloween, but I can firmly say witches are good all year around.

A very cute, witchy read! I loved Rhys and I loved Vivienne, and I was rooting for them throughout the entire book.

I also loved the subplot of the curse, as well as all of the secondary characters.

I enjoyed the premise for this book, it was fun. However, I did spend a lot of it distracted or bored, it didn’t really hold my attention all the time.
