im biased i love retellings, it's a good and light read. i do not like however how when they're extremely angry with each other they practice an animalistic version of the horizontal tango but that's a personal preference

the book is nice hades is still a major crush however the character of persephone sometimes angered me.

i have a strong opinion on this one. first it is sold as a slow burn enemies to lovers. to be enemies to lovers you need to be enemies first, he has been in love with her since he met her. they never really hated each other they just couldn't date because right person wrong time.
ANYWAY if you would've told me instead of knox his name was harry styles i wouldn't question it. most of this felt like a wattpad fanfic it made me mad. i liked it? yes i like romance but i am mad there were never enemies in the first place. i also chose to ignore the cover
slow burn? don't know her. he literally fingered her in the auditorium the first moment they were all alone. if you're diabetic be careful reading this book because he's lovesick he said such beautiful things i gagged i had a sugar rush he was ready to give it all up for her

"i told you my love was going to hurt like hell. so tell me, bella ladra, does it hurt?" context: he's fucking her in the ocean surrounded by sharks. i don't kinkshame the tws at the start literally tell you what you need to know. the more you read the better it gets. however enzo's character made me raise the red flag multiple times, i loved him but some stuff made me stop reading and look at a camera as if i was in the office like is this dude for real. anyway he was ready to give her all and i won't settle for less

i was told to read it for the sex scenes and i mean they were fine. thing is i felt i was reading a wattpad fanfic. don't get me wrong i liked it but after tcp anything would've been better. the end was kinda rushed tho i wanted them to suffer more.

i read it because everyone was hyping it so much and this was the worst decision of my entire life. i read it in two days because i can't leave a book unfinished and i wanted to end my own suffering. i liked the ending because the book was done.

plot can be summarized in kell and alucard holding lila back from stabbing holland in several occasions. i loved it so much, a quick pace and i understood everything and i read it really fast and now i miss fictional characters sigh

i might have to reread this one because the first chapters were boring and i wasn't paying enough attention lol. when the character of lila is introduced everything gets so much better i love her so much. kell is annoying in this one but he redeems himself in the end.

this is my first colleen hoover book and hopefully my last one. my therapist needs a therapist. i read it in one sitting because one part of me was curious and the other part wanted to know how far this could go. i couldn't sleep.

usually second parts suck and i was scared the whole vibe was gonna be ruined. but it wasn't. i cried a lot and threw the book against the wall several times. i felt a lot of things and i made this duology my entire personality. kanej forever.
