This was a good one, I didn’t figure it out until the end when it was all placed before me. 🤣🤷🏼♀️ It wasn’t cheesy or silly to me at all. I really enjoyed the writing, the candor, the story.

I finished at 20% in. I had to DNF. I just cannot handle the narcisism and toxicity these two have after ‘falling in love’ with each after 30 seconds of knowing each other.
Bro. That’s not love. That’s lust. And hey, I love me some lust BUT don’t try to parade around and call it ‘love’. I’m smart enough to know better and old enough to eyeroll when someone thinks they’re going to be successful in tricking me to not see what’s happening.
So I could not get on board with our characters and when Gabe continues to act like he’s the center of every universe that ever existed and repeatedly puts Lucy on a planet in another solar system completely disregarding her feelings was the final straw.
No thank you. Also, Gabe can F ALL THE WAY OFF. By himself his imperfect and broken narcissistic self. Good luck with that, buddy. 😡 😡😡

This book is bad if you have any PTSD from toxic emotionally abusive relationships. Or gaslighting. Or just any narcissistic relationship, to be honest.

I love the idea of a multiverse! I really enjoyed the dual story line whereby both were painfully sad and equally happy and beautiful.
The perfect thing does not exist.
I was bothered by how meh Ethan was in the early parts of the book. He kind of just out me off from that part forward.

This story is as beautiful as it is heartbreaking. I fell in love with the stories woven together, how love can and does look different. I was satisfied with the stories movement and growth of the characters where in some other books I have questions or am confused because things don’t make sense based on the characters.

I liked this book! I did struggle with how quickly and unbelievably all-encompassing Lachlan fell for Lark. It felt unreal and I couldn’t buy in, so that was a struggle for me for the first half of the book.

I loved this story through to the end. I struggled with the beginning because it hurt my heart and I worried so much for Patch.
This was a beautiful love story with so many twists and turns that it could very well be true life biography.

DNF - too many religious undertones. I just couldn’t push through. ❌

Cute story, love the roommate-fake-dating trope, but that might be cringe for some people.

I liked this mini pre-quel to Pretty Girls. Sad.
