I miss you dad <3

The long time it took me to finish this was due to my own reading slump and does not reflect the quality of the book.

MY HEART GOT BROKEN AT THE END
I always love not knowing how the individual stories will be connected at the beginning. But gradually through reading all four the characters and storylines come together and it is beautiful. I am truly so heartbroken with how delicately and nuanced all these deal with loss and grief and how different everyone handles it. It's something I can sadly relate it and is healing to read about.

I wish this series was longer, as I didn't learn enough to get invested in the characters like I usually like to. Yet I very much enjoyed the story and especially the art was stunning and dragons and the inherent queerness was beautiful and magical.

Rinn and Aedhan or Hesekiel and Erik, I can't decide who I love more but my god they have cute relationships.
I loved that we got even more insight into characters while still relating to the first book. Seeing more of young Hese and Erik was sooo cute and seeing their adventuring times and the blossoming relationships, planning their future together. The art was so beautiful, especially during the Tea Deagon festival, all the colors and dishes looked gorgeous. Aedhan is such a curious character and I loved nonbinary Rinn!!

This was much shorter than I expected but I enjoy the cast of characters so much. They are all so sweet and Greta such a lovely, passionate person that I can't wait to read further. The tea dragons are adorable and I really liked the little excerpt out of the tea dragon handbook at the end.

Thanks to the author and Netgalley for providing me with an e-arc to read and review prior to publication.

I was initially drawn in by the title and thoroughly enjoyed "Les Be Honest". I adore the idea of the story, bringing attention to the lack of queer/ lesbian bars and addressing the very real issue of it in a rom-com setting.
The first three chapters didn't entirely capture my attention, showing off too many facts straight away rather than letting them naturally surface in the story. However once familiar with the story I found the quite imperfect characters both relatable and compelling. Sarah Robinson managed to find a good balance between the business plot of setting up a bar, with many obstacles, and the romantic relationship. Both characters, as well as some side characters, had developed backstories that made them more palpable and grounded their perspectives and actions in their history. I also enjoyed the discussions surrounding family and coming out the respectful approach both were given (but also the quip about how publishers seem to only know coking out stories amused me). The ending came a bit of a surprise for me and could have been elaborated on, but that is a personal preference!
Overall I would recommend this to anyone looking for a cute rom-com with out and loud lesbian rep!

Okay I don't know if the ebook I downloaded is different than my printed version but the ending was so underwhelming for me.
I really enjoyed the book and seeing how closely they showed everything in the show as I have seen that and loved it.
Not that I have finished the book I have to say tho I actually miss a few scenes they added in the show and wish they were in the book.

Toad is literally one of the most vile and hateful creatures I have ever encountered in a book. He doesn't deserve to be as big of a part of the book as he is and rather they should have focused on Mole and Rat. Those two were, and don't fight me on this, the epitome of gay married husbands. They moved in together one day after meeting, and then spend the rest of their lives together in such domestic harmony. I really enjoyed seeing the care these two had for each other and the friendship they developed with the Badger. He was such a great character and person and with thr description of his house I really started to appreciate the descriptive nature of the story.
I could clearly picture the whole little world they all share and I enjoyed the vivid depiction of the change of seasons.
