Some Kind of Perfect by Krista Ritchie
This is my second time reading this book (this entire series, actually) and I'm keeping the original rating that I put in the other edition.

Blood of Elves by Andrzej Sapkowski
This was a quick and entertaining read. A big portion of this book is dialogue and it doesn't really have a plot, it's mostly about getting to know the characters and the journeys they are in, as well as the political situation in this world and the main players in it. I found all of it really interesting, so I didn't mind it the lack of plot.
While it mostly focuses on Geralt and Ciri, the truth is that there are a lot of scenes from other character's perspectives that show what the different players in the war are doing or planning. Because it jumps between characters, the timeline isn't linear, between one scene and another weeks, months or years could have gone by and there are also flashbacks about what happened to other characters during the time that was skipped. While this felt a little jumpy at times, I think it made the story feel very fast paced.
Overall, I really enjoyed it and I can't wait to continue reading the series.

b.b. free #3 by Gabby Rivera, Royal Dunlap

This was definitely my least favorite issue so far, but I still enjoyed it. The art is beautiful as always, love bb free and Chulita and I think the plot is taking shape and becoming more interesting. The reason this one is my least favorite is that it felt like the transitions from one storyline to the next were a bit incongruous

This was a quick and fascinating read. I loved how all the different storylines were intertwined and the last part of the book had me at the edge of my sit, just dying to know how everything ended. I can't wait to watch the movie!

This was such a quick, fascinating and thought-provoking read. There's a lot about biology and chemistry and engineering in this book, because it focuses a lot in the scientific and techical side of space travel but the truly interesting things is that Becky Chambers doesn't forget about the impact that the discoveries, the advancements and the search for those things have on people

This was a quick, interesting and twisted novella about the choices we make and that we have to live with. The last few pages that were a kind of epilogue made me love this a little less, they totally made sense and it was a realistic outcome, still they brought down my enjoyment of the story.
Ghost Squad by Claribel A. Ortega
The best part about this book was the characters and the relationship between them. I loved Lucelly and Syd's frienship. Syd is my favorite, she was so sassy and such a good friend. I loved Babette as well as Lucelly's ghost family, they were so fun to read about.
I think it's great that in this book there are adults who actually believe and help the girls and the girls are smart enough to accept the help and not try to do everything on their own, which is something that has been missing from a lot of the middle grade books I have been reading lately.
Another great thing about this book is how unapologetically Latinx it is, from the food to the music to the chanclas and finally to the Dominican Folklore.

This was cute and entertaining. I liked the main character, but my favorite character was definetely Jacob, he was funny, his story was so sad and the mystery of what it's happening to him was the most interesting part of this book. I liked the plot and the setting of the first book more, I feel like it was more atmosphetic. Still I liked the way the catacombs were used in this one.
