I found myself bending down, bringing my lips closer to hers. We were both women, after all. It wasn't such a big deal for me to give her a kiss, was it?

My first ever baihe and I'm glad this was what caught my eyes. The overall story line was simple and packed with lighthearted scenes, it was mainly focus on the love story between our main characters and their growth from times to times. We had a bit of twist and turn but nothing too much.

I sat next to the bed, trying to cajole and intimidate her by turns, I called her 'my lady', I called her 'madam', I called her 'meimei, I called her 'grandma' — I called her every single term of address I could think of a woman, all to no avail.

All the characters here were also very likable. Wei Zisong was such a funny girl, especially reading her inner monologue lmao Silly girl and Zhong Liang also deserve more depth to their characters as I think they also hold an important part of the story. 

Definitely recommended for anyone who is longing of a love story that will make you grin and giggle to yourself!

OH MY! This book was everything. Tense, mysterious, dark, twisted you name it. She was right when saying none of this is true.

I do like how easy and fast-paced this one was. I feel like if you are new to thriller, this is one of the perfect book to start with. 

MY JAW WAS ON THE FLOOR. 

I appreciate every danmei translator who gave their blood, sweat and tears for us, so that we can enjoy these amazing stories, for free. However, respectfully I couldn’t really get into the story as the translation was a bit awkward to read. 

A quick and easy read for those who are bored and need a thing to do. Not bad.

Okay, I honestly love the idea of the story but I’m not going to lie and pretend that I love this book. But did I enjoy it? OF COURSE!!!

So far I’m not really into the characters yet but I know once I get the chance to read the second book I’d be bawling my eyes out. So yes I’m very excited to read the next book and see Luo Binghe grow into a hot dude lol

HAHAHA NO ONE KNOWS HOW MUCH PAIN I FEEL RIGHT NOW!!

YEAH I WILL NEVER RECOVER FROM THIS HAHAHA I WILL KEEP THINKING ABOUT THIS SCENE EVERYTIME EVERYDAY FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. HAHAHAHA THANK YOU MEATBUN HAHAHAHA

I came here not expecting anything yet still annoyingly disappointed by everything. Not even the smut can save it. 

So yeah nothing in this book is worthy of your attention. I’m telling anyone who see this to go away and pick up another thing to read. 

I would say that this is a very light read for such a heavy theme. I enjoy how we were not only following the mc throughout his revenge plot but also his love story and how he was living his best lives.

Next, love Meng Yang for always being an amazing support for Luo Xiu. His thoughts about filial culture are very much needed, especially in this context where milking tf out of your kid’s considered as a repayment for giving birth to you. 

Overall, I never expected something extraordinary to happen in the story so I pretty much liking everything.
