This was a fun time! I had always been bummed that I missed out on this series as a teenager, so it was about time I got around to it. I enjoyed the world-building, the characters and the conflict. The twist at the end was good (even though I'm already spoiled for how it plays out later on) and I'm excited to continue on with this series!

Did not finish book. Stopped at 51%.
I am just having such a difficult time engaging with this book. I appreciate the new perspectives but I’m not very interested in any of the subplots going on.

A really cute children's mystery story. As a Virginia resident, I love the setting!

What I love the most about Alice Oseman's books are the characters - they are so realistic for teenagers and I walk away loving each one of them! This was another great YA story and I loved that the focus was on friendship, instead of romance. A really great read! High school/teenager me would have been obsessed.

A sensible girl would leave. A good girl most certainly would. But I was tired of being sensible, and I was tired of being good. I couldn't walk away from what I was being offered: the chance to live an exceptional life.

I am obsessed! This was dark, gothic, and moody. I loved the rivals to lovers story we got in this and the twisted, complicated relationships that explored obsession versus love. S.T. Gibson's writing is incredible and I could read her stories, especially like this one, for the rest of my life.
