cute book, it felt like there could have been more depth to the plot and more explanation for some parts. i did enjoy the characters a lot though, and it was a great read for fall.

going into this book, i had no clue it would be about a character with DID, but i was pleasantly surprised since i’ve always wanted to know more about the condition and what’s it’s like for those who struggle with it. i wish we could’ve gotten more insight into what really happens in the next few years for her. it feels like everything just got “normal” for her and it just ended

this book made me cry so many times. iris and roman are just too cute and they deserve nothing but happiness and the fact that they didn’t receive much of it in this book was heartbreaking. i loved the way roman’s character was written and how he was so romantic but also hilarious. attie was another one of my favorites ofc. i have heard that the next book is more political than this one and i absolutely do not mind since the storyline was so intriguing. i cannot wait to start the next one!!!

to be so honest, this book was a little boring and i didn’t love the layout of it BUT it was definitely a very thought out plot and the way it played out was unexpected. the murderer and victim were a little predictable though.
