loved it. it was a little long for my liking but the lore made up for it. the repetition of the fight between xaden and violet got annoying after a while but the rest of the plot went so hard that it made up for the annoying parts. the ending made me sad but it definitely makes me ready for the next book. i liked the characters a lot in this book, i’d say more so than in fourth wing. overall, i had a lot of fun reading this

honestly i really loved the beginning of this book but towards the end i was just trying to get through it. the language was just super confusing. i definitely want to reread in a few years though

Did not finish book. Stopped at 44%.
it was for a project for my english class. this book is pretty straightforward so i can assume how it’s going to end and didn’t feel the need or desire to finish it.

this was a cute story. i love cardan even more now obviously, but i wish we got more of cardans perspective on jude and some of the events that happened in the main series. like i said though, it was a nice little ending and i enjoyed it

i loved this book but mostly for the characters. the plot was great too, but i was definitely more interested in the characters’ relationships with one another. i’m so sad that this series is over, but i’m thinking of reading the stolen heir duology soon so the tales of faerieland arent completely over yet. i’m just glad everyone is happy for now, i couldn’t have imagined a better ending :)

woooooowwwww. first of all, i loved getting another perspective of this whole story but i wasn’t expecting taryn to be actually horrible. like at first i understand why she was hurt but towards the end- crazy. she’s absolutely insane.
