This is more of a 3.5, I think, but I'll round up for now. I also took a massive break in reading this (several months) at like 30% in because life, so that might have affected my enjoyment, to be clear.

Overall, this was as enjoyable as ever but it definitely felt like filler and the ending was extremely anti-climactic. But Kate is as badass as ever and I'm looking forward to the next one.

This didn't quite live up to the hype for me, but it's still lovely. I also really love that the FMC is plus-size and it's completely normalized. No body image issues, no fatphobia, there's no fetishizing from the male lead. It just is what it is and it's so fucking refreshing.
