i usually don't read a lot of romance, but this story had its claws sunk into me from the first page until the end! it was a little too much for me, but i did enjoy it. i didn't really understand
why gray had to stalk her? like...she would've gotten with him no matter what
but the ending was a very good closing,

i was really excited when i read the description for this book because i love books following people who were kidnapped and return years later. however, the more i got into the book the less excited i got. i felt like the author was building up to something so shocking and something skin curling, but no. there was not really a huge plotwist and i kind of hated the ending.

i read under the sycamore tree a year ago around the same time, and i really enjoyed it so after seeing this released i had to pick it up! and im glad i did. seeing kayden in the condition is very heartbreaking, however, it is also very hopeful and inspiring. my heart will forever break for him. i loved the portrayal of grief but i wish it was longer and that we got to see him heal more

this collection of poetry is intimate and very thought-provoking, a lot of the poems i had to sit on and that was one of my favorite parts. there were a few poems that i didn't have the best feeling about but overall, the poetry was just unique and inspiring! i cannot wait to re read this one

this is the kind of book that changes depending on where in your life you read it. i happened to read at the right time, and im so excited to pick up more of rilkas' works. i seriously can’t wait to come back to it later and get a whole new experience out of it because wow it was just everything i wanted it to be and even more.

this was a book that was hard to put down and when you think you’ve guessed what has happened, you got it wrong. I was sure i knew what the twist would be, but then i was totally wrong once the twist came, but then the ending happened.....and i dont even understand what the ending was?? who told the author it was a good idea to end the story like that? there is zero clear direction to what the ending was. and towards the end once we started getting more povs i felt as it was just fluff added for no reason. disappointing but i still couldnt put it down.

i don't know. it was okay but i kind of just skimmed it which is often the case with books about self-centered teenagers and more horniness than feelings. i wouldn't have minded a little bit more angst, a little bit of anything more than the pages and pages of smut and the occasional (forced) drama.

the synopsis of this book gave me so much hope and the first 40 or so pages were really great...but then it went meh very fast..i thought the author kind of just made the charcters bland and i didnt really care about what was happening to them. after someone died i was just like oh okay...but the ending...why...??
