honestly i feel the same way about this as i do the other books in this series. i thought christopher was cute and the plot was cute that he started over from his big, lush lifestyle to find himself backpacking with not a lot of money and met a girl who didn’t have a lot of money so he lied about who he was. this story and tristan’s were my favorite in the series, though i gotta say i like tristan way more than christopher. at time christopher was a complete dick and he said things i didn't think he should be saying but again that happens in all of the books in the series so..

this book wasnt bad, i actually kinda ejoyed it. it was a nice easy read but fairly predictable. It's a book that I didn't mind reading start to finish but nothing that had me on the edge of my seat or wanting to recommend to everyone I know and reread later. the twists were kind of predictable, and it was a little long. but i recommended the audiobook!

...my heart has never been filled with as much beautiful and sorrow as it was reading this. this book is the embodiment of poetry and stream of consciousness combined and subsequently it took me no time at all to read it. The beautiful description juxtaposed with the heartbreaking story has meant that it will be a story that will stay with me for a while.

oh my gosh rilke,... seriously this is one of my favorite collections of poetry. it is next level outstanding work. you definitely dont have to be religious to enjoy this. it can be interpreted in many different ways. many of these poems reframe the figurative language we typically use when talking about our spiritual lives; rather than god himself. it was just a perfect cozy coffee shop read-- such a beautiful marriage of poetry, prayers, and praise. I'll reread this one many times, without a doubt.

I had to read this for class and Im not mad about it; this memoir was insane and I really do mean that in a good way. A memoir that puts a voice to the long-lasting repercussions of religious fundamentalism and how difficult it can be to shake your past. The writing grabbed you, pulled you into the pages, and made you feel the storyline. Absolutely gut-wrenching at times and extremely eye-opening. Educated makes you rethink what you've been learned to believe and living as truth.

i saw a review before this that compared to a mix of the phantom of the opera and the picture of dorian gray and oh my gosh i will never look at this book the same..this book was embedded in words of affection are humanist truths about love and happiness. and i really genuinely enjoyed it. however, i wish alec would've been introduced better.if not sooner. it would've made me care a bit more. but i still loved this book!! definitely recommend.

so at the age of sixteen, olivia Carson's sister, lily finds herself pregnant and is forced to choose between abortion or adoption and decides to run away. so, we follow olivia through this. and this book was good if you look over how unrealistic it is, like when she went to the police, and they wouldn't even investigate her leaving a whole child? but it was a nice suspenseful book and there was a little romance. but the end was good. kind of predictable but i still enjoyed it! okay but i felt so so bad when lucas went in the lake and drowned himself

i liked this book a lot better than i thought i was going to. after hearing so many mixed to bad reviews I was hesitant but still had interest to read it so I did. i started and honestly, it was a page-turner 9well i listened to it on audiobook so i guess it was a fast-listener) i mean there is obvious flaws i found especially with the main character and I felt some of the narrative was repeated at times, and got slow at those points of the story but overall I would recommend to those that like a romance, supernatural, mild thriller like story this is for you. also i kinda almost got emotional when gabriel thought he lost layla

i mean it was okay? the plot twists were unexpected but weird, and sinister and not really that good. the first half of the book was boring but slightly creeped out by the end. but also, i didnt really enjoy it as much as i thought i was going to. i liked the characters but the plot twists were just meh, and i think that's kind of what ruined it for me.

this was a good ending to this series! i mean one of my favorite parts was when he wrote her a letter for every day, they were apart. IT WAS SO CUTE, and the way he liked her so much. but this was read for *entertainment purposes*, nothing much. so i didn't expect much.
