Abbi escapes to Alaska for a job opportunity after her fiancé is caught cheating on her.  she comes from a very Christian religious household where they wait till marriage and so she caught her fiancé cheating on her because "he just couldn't wait" so she gets a job working at a swanky hotel and keeps having run-ins with the very sexy and very serious hotel owner., Mr.Wolf. and their relationship goes from there. I really didn't know what to expect coming into this, but I'm not complaining. I started this because I needed something to cheer me up after the last book, I read tore my heart apart. But i definitely will be reading the rest of the series.

we get 3 povs. one from now,4 months ago and 15 years ago. we follow two charcters point of views (lucian and catherine). and all we know at the start is something traumatic happened and now catherine is in a psychological silence, and we get to explore and figure out why. the execution of the book alone was incredible. i cannot express how much the characters touched me. i have been in a reading slump for months, and this book really pulled me out of it.   Truly This is one of my favorite books so far this year. I felt so much reading it. The heartache, the regret. Every word lingered, and I was the protagonist for a while, understanding them completely. The book kept me wondering until the end, and it just made sense to me. I will remember it for a long time, knowing that it touched me to the core.  My heart ached for Lucian and Catherine. this book will stay in my heart forever.

Wow!1 This one was an interesting read. The FMC is an alcoholic celebrity who lost her husband a year prior in a drowning at their lake home. After saving another starlet, Katherine, from a similar fate, they quickly build a friendship, but Katherine suddenly disappears. With three immediate suspects all milling around, the main character becomes a lakeside porch sleuth, spying on all of her neighbors with a bottle of bourbon and binoculars. All of the chacters were nicely developed and they all had a plot line and the plot twist (the main one) as there were many were CRAZY!!

this book was really good! i loved the ice grope and i loved how it washt too slow but it was also not super fast. there was still  a little until you reach the climax . it was really fun to read, and the characters were really enjoyable!

overall, it was very interesting, but i don't think it's a book i would read in my free time. it was just a complete shit show and everyone was very manipulative but once i got into it i enjoyed it more. the drama was very interesting.

I LOVED everything about this book. it's one of those books that is so messed up in a lot of ways but i found myself totally hooked! Ii read it in one sitting.... i'm sure at one point i was so desperate to get something to eat but i didn't go, i didn't want to put the book down. it gripped me with every page i turned. maybe im just messed up because she fell for her stalker but so did i... BUT HOW COULD I NOT I MEAN THE ENDING. UNBELIVEABLE. IM EXCITED TO READ BOOK 2.
