this book was so long, but i love the mental health discussions and zander was just so precious to stevie. like about EVERYTHING. like the way he comforted all of her insecurities. i just wanted to burst from the sweetness.

i saw someone else's review where they said "
i absolutely loved this book; my body, my limbs, and my soul ache with it "you gave me your heart, marya antonova, and i will keep it safe until my dying day. i'll keep it safe and in return, you'll have my heart forever until someone cuts it out of my fucking chest."
LIKE no shit but i expected dimitri to be so douchebag-ish yk typical superior snob boy BUT NO i loved the way he surrenders to masha and did not argue WHEN I READ HIS LINES I IMAGINE IT TO BE SOFT SPOKEN WITH HIS EYES SO COMFORTING
"together, we could be everything."
his weakness, his achilles' heel is masha just as hers is dima. i want a love like theirs- the kind that would burn the world. "
which i thought summed it up perfectly. this book kept crumbling me just to put me back together, i love lev and sasha and im so happy the ending was happy but also so bittersweet. forever will dima and masha be engraved in my brain. THE WRITTING. the intentional acts and romeo and juliet quotes. it was everything i wanted.

i don’t really know what i was expecting coming into this. but i was happy with what i got out of it. however i thought they’re could’ve been more, just as Quentin could’ve had way more detail, his sexuality was just mentioned and glossed over, and then he just turned into a heroin addict? and eleanor’s chapters certainly could’ve been left out? or just like explained? i kinda hate frank at this moment, like i get it but wow. this book had beautiful lines though and just the plot like it was just about a chaotic life of two people who came together to come part. truly devastating. but i was so proud of cleo for finding herself and leaving.

Hen and Lloyd meet Matthew and Mira at a neighbourhood block party. This encounter leads to an invite to the latter couple’s for dinner, and at the close of the evening, Mira invites her guests on a tour the house. In Matthew's study, Hen notices a fencing trophy that looks exactly like the one that went missing when Dustin Miller – a young man from the neighbourhood she and Lloyd lived three years ago – was brutally murdered. Is it a coincidence, or, is she living next door to a killer? And, more importantly, does Matthew suspect that Hen knows what he is? . it was good!
