Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover

i listened to this through KU & i love the dual POV. it really adds the extra context and feelings that add to the story. i had so many mixed emotions on this book bc i related to ledger very much throughout the book. but from seeing kenna’s side i felt bad for her all the way through and im glad the ending was the way it was. i was shocked just as much as kenna towards the end but def for the better.
Catching Feelings by K.M. Galvin

i honestly couldn’t put this book down. i love everything about it. from the rivalry to the emotional issues to the spice. as someone who tries to prepare for everything that can happen in a situation, it was nice to see that you can live in the moment & trust yourself and love. absolutely love these characters. the family bond, found family, childhood friends, etc. just overall a well rounded story

this was really well paced for a novelette. heartbreaking, jaw dropping, gasping, all things i did when i was reading it. when it ended i stared at my kindle hoping another page would pop up to continue the story lol. a revenge story & he damn well deserved the revenge
tw for sexual assault & rape & gruesome violence.

Light of Christmas by J. Laine

the love i have for these characters is insane. i see so much of myself and my marriage in Lo & Gray. it’s beautiful to see that even though they’ve been through so much trauma, both together & individually, that as long as they have each other and their village they will be okay. especially bc they both want a better life together than what they’ve gone through & seen others go through.
i also love Gray’s christmas present. my wife did the same thing for me. you don’t see it often, it’s very unique & special. mine was brown & black and replicated wood texture.
cant wait for the next book! i’m so excited to see how these characters continue to grow!

Interviews with the Temporally Displaced by Shawn Wayne Langhans, Shawn Wayne Langhans

the way this book is set up is very interesting & in my
opinion, on the more unique side. you don’t see Interview Style setups and it really adds to the way you find out about these characters and how to feel about them. i enjoyed hearing the stories of the characters the same way the main character did. especially bc i would think or want to ask the same things he did. the real truth behind the Temporally Displaced was kinda shocking but in a confusing way. i did enjoy the pictures at the end, i thought that was a fun touch.
