i read this book as book #1, currently reading Lose Me now, as kindle advertised it as book #1 to me and so did google. it was a great book overall, it’s interesting to see hollywood characters show that side of themselves that you don’t ever see irl in the way that Wes opened up & showed himself to us readers. as well as i always enjoy a book that touches on things such as depression, addiction, mental health, etc. bc those are all important to me. some parts seemed slightly dragged out & almost like it only had to be in the story just to fit some of the pages between the beginning & the ending. however, i am just hoping it’s bc i missed something by this actually being the 2nd book. regardless, it was quite an interesting read and i liked it overall. anytime i picked it up, i couldn’t put it back down. i’m enjoying the 2nd book a lot so far. i’d say 3.5 stars as of now but i’m sure after i finish the real first book, it will go up. i’m glad to have discovered this author and plan on reading a lot more of M.C. Frank’s writing.

wow. i don’t even know what to say. i could literally feel my heart breaking throughout this book. i could feel the pain through the words and actions taking place.
i kept guessing why Miles didn’t wanna to revisit his past but man did i not expect the situation that it was. i could barely put this book down and when i had to, i would think about everything that i had already read.
i was totally on Tate’s side during the story but at the end, i understood why their relationship was the way it was. i don’t even know what to do with myself after reading this book lol. if you haven’t read it, read it. if you have, read it again LOL.

i liked this book. i love basketball, i grew up playing it and i played it in high school, so i enjoyed the basketball jokes and background. however, i felt like some things repeated slightly too much or just didn’t fit with how the story was going. the spicy scenes were amazing and definitely lovely to read. i liked being able to enjoy the book from both of the main character’s pov too. it’s nice to see what’s going on in both of their heads as they make stupid choices lol. i’d rate it 3.5 stars.

i received this book as an eARC & i was very excited. the first few chapters were good but unfortunately right around 50% i DNFed. it was too confusing for me to follow the multiple POVs and storylines within it. it definitely has potential and i would still recommend it.

i really enjoyed this book. i listened to it via kindle & it was nice that it was dual narration.
the only thing i wish was different was the ending, it seemed slightly a bit rushed but i am happy with the way it ended! the book wasn’t what i was expecting but we love a fun time!
i enjoyed being able to be in the head of both of the main characters since there was so much tension and chasing involved. it was nice to see how they really felt. good read.

i am still relatively new to horror as a genre but this book is good for anyone who enjoys thrillers, mysteries & horror. i enjoyed the plot twists and the ending was definitely not what i was expecting. i liked how it shows you what someone going through that much grief but undeniable love would do for the loves of their life. also, how even in a small town, not everyone is who they say they are.
