5.0

Third book in the series and probably the one that I most expected as I fell in love with Brandon and always wandered who would be enough for him and I haven't been disappointed.
Charlie is to sweet and shy and knows very well that her sexy as hell neighbour is trouble as he isn't one to settled down and fall in love with a clumsy girl like her.Their interactions are so funny and she awkwardly blushes and say the stupid things that she shouldn't when he is around.
Brandon is probably every woman dream, hot, sexy tatted ,smart and flirty always with a sexy and cocky smile on his lips all the time for every beautiful woman and that may not always be the case for a bad boy.
It's an easy read ,fast paced, opposited attract characters that has a lot of nice and funny banter and sexy scenes that we do have to wait a bit for them but very well done and maybe at the right time.

New to me author and what a way to start reading her work.
Laugh out loud love story with great heroine and hot hero.

Reagan is a high school teacher and she loves her job and the children and is one of those teachers that would do anything to make her students interact more and be more active at her classes and that's how they will have someone from outside to teach them or answer their questions about a profession or life struggles.

Carter is a NFL football player that will retire soon and gets back to his hometown to become a coach for the local team and also is one of the persons of interest to go to the classes that Regan is having for the school.

Regan was his crush when they were in highschool but because he was famous and always a cheerleader was at his arm ,he haven't spend much time with the shy girl that intrigued him then.

Regan had a crush for Carter in highschool also but she could not see herself levelled with his popularity group then, but now she become a smart, sassy and beautiful and with an unfiltered mouth all woman and when their path cross again she still is shy and say the stupid things that one could not expect from her.
With all this he still falls for her and proves his intentions by spending time with her unique family and paying more attention to her than she think she deserves from him until she realised that his family is unique in their way and maybe something more could happen between them ,more than friends and a highschool crush.

Can they found love when he could have any woman he desire, but the only one he wants is her?

Well written love story for a chance at love and hilarious moments with so down right characters that amazed me with their bluntness and what ones brain can make up .
Misadventures with a Country Boy by Elizabeth Hayley

Another Misadventure book with another couple that sticks to your heart.
Brooke wants to get away from the life that her parents build for her without asking her what she really wants from and with her life.Although some may think she has it all, she can't live that life anymore and find herself wanting to start a new life in another place where nobody knows her for her name or inheritance.
Cole is a country man that served in the army but now is also trying to get away and start a new life in other state far away from his past and family and it's a bit heartbreaking all his backstory and very understandable why he wants to leave it all behind.
After she gets to be alone and without a car in a gas station where he stops for gas and coffee ,although she is wary of him then realises that he doesn't know her so she could get on the road trip with him and what a road trip really. The authors have such a talent to describe a more than visual surroundings that I felt myself in the car with the couple. They get to know each other a little bit every day through their journey and it's full of funny moments, facts from their past and what they wish for their future,it's a slow burn love story filled with good banter and very real characters.
Another misadventures book and another new to me authors that won't be new in the future.

Loved loved loved this book so much.I think I've lived in another world till few months ago because I love when I find new authors and their work sticks to my heart
It's a beautiful story set in New Orleans and it really makes me want to move in the states because the visuals that we get from the author in the books is so real that you feel in the front line next to them at the coffee shop or restaurant or bar or even on the streets.
The name of the book comes from a cocktail drink that is served at the bar where the characters met and work and I want to try one.
Avery is a pink hair young and very strong woman that leaves her long time boyfriend when he is very aggressive and tries to make a new life in another town where everything is new for her~new home to look for,new job,new friends, new plans for the future.I love her because she stands up for what she wants and doesn't quite when an obstacole intervene in her path for starting an new life.
Shaw is a bearded and tatted broken man in more ways that you could think about. He lost his first love and is trying to overcome depression and anxiety burring himself into work in owning a bar and helping the homeless that are looking for a night to spend in a worm place.
I love that we have both points of view,it helps so much to understand what happens with the characters and why they take certain decisions, the chemistry between them is amazing and the dialog is so well done that I laugh out loud so many times but also felt sad at moments when we discovered their past.
I fell for both through their pain and angst and lust and a second chance at love even if both want to protect their hearth, love comes when less expected and this book made it so clear and so beautiful written that it surely is in my top 5 of the year now.

New author and first book that I've read in this series although it's book #3
Love at first sight on their graduation night ,what could go wrong after that? everything is fine until one night when Opal just disappears and Santiago never cease to look for the woman he loves.
After a tragic accident Opal looses her memory or better said her brain wants to wipe away all the bad memories of the unfortunate situation that she has been through and maybe that's why when Santiago finds her in the most unexpected moment ,she refuses to let him and everything that he says to believe and go back to those happy moments that he is telling her that they had.
''She is snappy and sarcastic, uninhibited. She knows who she is,and yet has no clue.''
I liked both characters ,Opal for taking her future in her hands and really thinking if it's worth to go back to those memories that her brain is trying to hide or just look in to the future with new hopes and dreams.I love Santiago ( love his name as I love everything latin ) because even if she tries to run away from him, from their past ,he won't let go to the only chance that she may be his again and will do everything to at least give her the opportunity to choose with all the facts and memories that they are still meant to be together.
It's a well written story ,with great banter between the characters ,it loosed my interest at times as some parts were to long and maybe they could have been done easier and shorter or even not necessary added, but overall it's a 4 solid stars read.

Talk about Love and how it can get stronger and stronger in any situation and finds her way in our hearts no matter the obstacles that have to be crossed ,this book is the perfect example for it as we get to know a young couple at the beginning of their relationship and an older one that at the end will prove that love overcome everything in life.
I haven't read any book from Manda before and didn't know what to expect but although I have finished the book days ago ,I couldn't find my words to expres how much I love her writing and this story.
I love that we have the points of view of both couples and we know exactly what happens in their minds and what they feel in every situation that comes on their way ,it just made me hate and love each one of them at the same time.
After having to go through hell and saved by the MC ,Jayden becomes a very strong and mature woman that will always love her knight on a motorcycle ,Paladin who is not much older than her but sharing her feelings and wanting to spend his life with her.New life in another state, new beginning that is not what they are expecting but as I said Love with always find a way to overcome everything.
I have to make time to read the other book and I am looking forward to the next in this series as I am intrigued by some great characters.
Sean by Fiona Keane

I’ve finished this book yesterday but didn’t know how I felt or what to say about it so i can make it justice.
What i liked: Avery is a woman that put her career and education first and she achieved everything in this field. The only thing she is missing is the personal one where she only wants one man that belongs to someone else and tries to get over him and goes out with another great man but she knows it’s not the same and her feelings would never be the same if it was Sean.
I did not understood well where Sean is coming from as in his family?( rich? )
I like the bound between the friends as they were a real family looking out for each other in every moment.
Sean is great, sexy and smart and funny but also confusing. When he finds out that he suffers from a deadly disease decides that the first person to tell is Avery as she is his friend. What follows is a battle with destiny in fighting the disease and acknowledge and confessing their love to each other.
I did not like that we only have her point of view as I wanted to know what Sean thinks, why he takes some decisions and what he feels through all the painful moments. There were also moments when I felt like telling the story for almost every minute of the day and suddenly jumping to weeks in between actions wasn’t on my liking.
Overall I give 4,5 stars because i liked the story and the research was good and it was an easy reading although it’s about a very difficult part in someones life which is hard to only hear about it.

OMG as always I finished Sybil's books in one sitting.
I waited for Tyler's story like forever now and again I haven't been disappointed.
Pretty boy of all the bodyguards, brother of another 4 mens (and we really want their stories now Sybil ) ex marine and sexy as hell ,caring for his friends and family ,even for the people he has to protect.
The new assignment is to protect an art gallery owner ,Princess Calandra and he royally ****** as he falls in love at first sight when he meets her.
Calandra wants to live her own life and doesn't go for her royal title but somehow someone found out and is trying to blackmail her.
In a span of less then 48 h everything is resolved but they also have to learn to trust each other and believe that he is the one for her and he has to accept that she is royalty and will always have more money than him and that his life is going to be different from now on,but he is all in and as he takes her to his mother house for their family dinner, we get to know more about him and what a perfect man Damian is.

I love that in every book we get to see some of the other friends and as usual Talon with his sexy southern accent '' Nothin' doin' darlin'''

I am totally restless for Ruthless and Calandra's redhead assistant and Sawyer.

Holly how!!!! Where do I start?
What have I read ? The most perfect couple in the rock music scene !!!
Willow , an amazing young woman that believes in life and yoga and meditation ,cristal healing and herbal tea are the answer to a happy life and a way to find peace in a storm that life brings along.
Zeke is a broken man that wants to keep his heart and feelings away from everyone as he has suffered before and because of that he won't allow anyone to have his heart broken and is building a shield around him being grumpy and rude and monosyllabic sometimes or even just ignoring people.

When they start to work together ,none of them expects to be part of this storm that is full of electrified sparks between them and even if he is rude to Willow, she can't resist to this strange feeling that pulls her to him,to know more about him and to discover his real self because she is the only one that sees beyond the mask that he wears.

Slow burn attraction that ends in hot as hell scenes and what a mouth he has ,God, be aware as those scenes are not safe for work (as I was doing :) )

Love the writing style,it's refreshing and makes you wanting more,to read more with every page, great dialog, amazing friends and real feelings shared between friends, family (as Willow and her mother ) I have to go back and read the first book in the series and waiting restless for the next one.
OOOO and have you listened to the playlist ? I had it on repeat so many times that I almost want to take guitar lessons.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would totally do it as this book is now part of my top 5 reads of the year for sure .

Of course I had to binge read this series as so many friends recommended it.
Faith is the 5th and last book in the series and what sweet end to this great serie.
Sometime life in the army gets lonely and boring to say at least and this is how Justin is feeling as all his friends and colleagues gets their happily ever after with their perfect matches.
One day his sister is pressing him to sign up for a penpal just to change something and give a try to a new opportunity to meet people and have time to think about something else than war and army.
Becca is a sigle mother army widow and would do anything for her sweet daughter.Wanting to change something in her life as well she signed up to become a penpal to a soldier as she knows how much that means for them when they are far away from home, family and friends.
To their surprise ,this makes them become friends and even they don't see each other in person for a long time, they develop such a sweet friendship and each one gets to know more of the other through their letter exchange .
It's a beautiful and so sweet story that will make you belive once again that love does exist and appears when and where least expected.
