When Cooper thought he has everything that he ever wanted and his life it’s perfect, he gets a phone call and finds out that his life is no longer perfect and everything changes. He becomes a single dad with a responsibility that is bigger and more important than anything else for him and so he has to leave the army and be the father that his daughter needs.
Going through the loss and grief for his wife is very difficult and takes time, he doesn’t want to even acknowledge or think about starting a new life, a new relationship with another woman until he meets Lexi, his sister’s friend that is going through a hard time herself after she divorces of her husband. She is beautiful, kind and a loving person, exactly what he needs for himself and his daughter but is he ready to accept the new changes and feelings towards her?
I liked the writing as it’s easy and was a very quick read and the story doesn’t have any drama between the characters, so it’s just a slow burn and shows how they fell in love with each other and take the next step in life.
I will give it 4 stars for everything mentioned and looking forward for more from this author.

Only the perfect is the second book in Only You series and I haven’t read the first one.
The story is about an older woman by 2 years than a young man who founds love when less expected.
He is 23 years old and finishing his Law degree and is attending his ex girlfriend wedding although he caught them cheating him, he says why not having a night with free meals and drinks and fun and finds out that he’s really enjoying the night as he is seated at the same table as Elodie, the groom’s ex wife and mother of his 6 years old child. She is 25 and her main focus is her son.
It’s a story about falling in love again and finding the perfect balance between her responsibilities as a mother and a new relationship that she is willing to take the risk as Jameson seems perfect for her, he isn’t judgemental and doesn’t seem to care about her being 2 years older than him and he really cares about her son which is every mother’s dream.
It was a nice and easy read, with laugh out loud moments, there where pages where I felt that the author needed to fill up the space by adding some actions of the characters that from my point of view were not necessary, but the whole plot and characters is nicely done.

“ Nothing is fare in Love or War”
I don’t know much about about the wars or the american army with their soldiers and doctors that have to live in that war because that is what they do for a living. It seems something from a movie most of the time when you don’t have a direct contact with this topic even if we hear or read about it in the news.
Love finds its way everywhere because no matter who you are or what you do,we are humans with feelings and beliefs and sometimes life is not what we expect or wish to be.
It’s a story about life and the decisions taken to overcome loss, depression, anxiety, PTSD mostly after a trauma that any person who took part in a war/deployment are going through and it’s not easy at all for nobody.
It’s a very intense read, it kept me wanting to know more and wishing not to end at some point.
I must admit that I cried and it’s the first time when i ever cried for a book, because the writers have this power with their words to create very specific graphics, it was too raw, to much angst and feels to real everything from the beginning to the end. I felt so much for each one of the characters, for Gavin who loved his wife so much and his forgiveness and support, for Katy that she had to go through so much and her anxiety and depression and love and loss of it and for Briggs for everything he had to feel as well, for the trauma they had to be part of and the decisions and time that were taken so that everything could be normal again.
I must say that I don’t agree with cheating but at some point in my life I understood that we all make mistakes and we’re not entitled to judge anybody’s life decisions as they are the ones who has to live with their past.
For me this book is in my top 3 books of the year.

Misadventures with a professor is part of the Misadventures series and it’s book #17, they are not interconnected and are very different in genres as the characters and writers.
When she is going to a summer assignment in another country, founds herself in bed with a very sexy man but she knows that is only for one night and takes all the advantages of it.
He is nothing like she thought her professor would be and after spending the one night stand with a stranger she is shocked to find out that her new job is to be hers mystery man assistant. He is sexy and very alpha man that is very serious and strict during day and at night becomes her teacher in the art of making love. She isn’t the shy type of heroine and is willing to learn and do whatever he wants with her body so that they both be pleased. The chemistry is so hot and crazy and increasing with each page turned.
This is one of those books that you can’t put down even if it’s full of dirty talking and kinky scenes, it’s an easy read and well written as usual by this author.

This is the debut book for the author and I have to say that is very interesting and I really enjoyed reading it. I am not a big fan of YA romance and this book doesn’t have much steam but the topics are interesting and got myself into reading it in one sitting.
What I love about Mason? That for him his family comes first as he has to take care of his sister on his own after their parents died , and to secure her future he has taken a job as a paid escort at his aunt company along with his studies for his final year in law school. He is a gentleman at heart and wants to be there for his family and friends
What i love about Rayleigh? That she is independent, she left her parents house although they still need her to help her mother with her younger brother, she was trying to follow her dreams, to pain and become a full time artist but life gets in the way and she has to work hard for a woman that won’t think twice when she fires her although she has made the gala reception to be a success.
Her friend Kat ( which I really want to know more about her story and hopefully she will have her book as i love second chance romance) sets Ray to an online dating site where she can choose whom and how to date.
I liked the writing, the plot, the stories that both come from and what they have to sacrifice to get where they are. I didn’t like that much the fact that they are more friends than anything although I had the feeling that they want more when they had their first meeting but I got lost somewhere on the story and apart from some kissing and a few kisses on the head or forehead, there isn’t much.
Looking forward for more from this author ❤️

It’s the first book that I’ve read from this author and didn’t know what to expect really but I was hooked immediately as I started to read the first chapter.
I am not a fan of older hero younger heroine trope and especially of the boss employee story but this book is very interesting and made me think about my preferences.
She is a beautiful, smart and amazing woman who won’t give up when she wants something even if that something is forbidden.
I loved the writing style, easy to read and laugh out loud at times, great story with very good description and interesting in the way of making you want to finish reading it.
Wil totally read more books from this author ❤️

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a new to me author and was surprised to find out that i really enjoyed the book.
Second chance romance are my favourite and even if I don’t really like YA that much, i finished this book in one sitting.
“They always say you never forget your high school crush “ and apparently it’s true.
Annabelle is working on her dream job for a prestigious company on the tv and she is also in college. After her mother left her and her father when she was very young, she still hopes that one day she will have her own show and maybe her mother will acknowledge her more.
Boone is a star in baseball and when he goes back to play for his hometown team, he doesn’t want to know about anything else but baseball and college as he is very determined to finish a degree just in case when his athlete career will finish, he could relay to a normal job and make a good living, not like his father.
When Anna and Boone were sweethearts in high school, he was to stubborn and fixed only on his goals to become a professional athlete and Anna wanted more of his attention for her, more communication between them but she went and cheated on him and broke both of their hearts. Now that he is back they bumped into each other more than they want and after a few hated conversations they try to be friends and maybe a bit more, to check where this is going to.
As i was saying this is a new to me author and really enjoyed the book, easy read, good writing style that kept me wanting to read one more page till the end, great characters with insecurities and real feelings.
Will definitely check more books from this author

O My God!!!!
This is a debut book!
This books is so sexy and had me blushing for more than once.It is a story about childhood friends that are following their dream careers and try to keep their love and relation alive even if they have to do it at long distance as Dowson is a rock star and is always on the go with the band and also has to be seen as a young Rockstar with no strings attached and living the life that everyone expects.
Izzy is an artist and for her,Dawson is everything, she tries to be as supportive as she can be but although he is totally into her and demonstrates it every day she has her insecurities and ends up heartbroken as something happens and he just becomes MIA.

Half of the book has very descriptive sexy scenes that I found them very well done.

I wanted a bit more of his POV at the end and obviously there are a lot of questions that we needs answers for and hopefully we will get them in the second instalment.I love second chance romance and waiting for the next book

Another new to me author and love it so much.
Union 21 owns almost every business in town and it’s a feared drug dealer gang.
Ryker doesn’t want to have anything to do with the gang but his best friend from childhood is the grandson of the head of the gang so he’s forced to hang out with them every now and then.
Nikki becomes a damsel in distress saved by Ryker as she has to dance in one of the strip club owned by the Union 21 for her mother’s addiction/ debt because they will always collect their debts in one way or another and the only way she will allow it is to do it by dancing.
When Ryker sees her he gets confused and trapped between wanting to know her better and letting her alone as she may belong to one of the Union members. Her beauty and fragility that he sees in her makes him wanting her even more to make her his and protect her.
It’s a long journey that they have to go through a lot of obstacles to overcome everything and be able to have a chance at love.
I didn’t like her mother for all the problems that she caused but maybe in a way if it wasn’t for her, our heroes wouldn’t have the chance to meet.
I really enjoyed it and loved that we have both POV and the story itself is very good, I like the writing style and how everything is easy to read and understand and the characters have insecurities and seem very real, I like how the author describe everything, the surroundings and the characters through the others eyes, it makes it so real.
Now I want to read more from this author ❤️
Belle by Night by Rachell Nichole

I have to say that i liked this book a lot because there aren’t many female domme in books and fund it interesting that her day job was actually a teacher for preschool, i liked him because he was a male nurse and not the stereotype Doctor/specialist/Manager whatever other high level paid job in any institution.
I have to be honest and say that I would have liked to read more about their sex scenes with her in full mode domme in reality not only on the phone as Belle and the end felt a bit rushed like the writer wanted to wrap everything up quickly compared to the slow pace of the plot.
Anyway everything seemed real and touchable and maybe thinking that the characters could be one pair of my friends , really enjoyed it and would look forward for others books from this author.
