This is basically a brunette Taylor Swift smut novel, and it was super boring. Basically, I skimmed read it after 60%... nothing interesting happened. Wouldn't recommend reading it.

4.5/5 - This book was so good from the very beginning. My only complaints was that there was not enough spice for me, and I do think it could have been shorter. The ending when all the gates opened was so crazy and I loved the ending! So excited for book 2. I can't believe I read this entire book in one day like a psychopath.

3.5/5 - This book was really hard to get through. All the characters were stupid, and the sex scenes felt like high school levels. Grown men should not be asking, "Do you like this?" You should be able to know, sir. The last 70ish pages really revealed a lot of the questions we had throughout the book. Danika clearly wasn't Bryce's friend. No friend would hide that much from their friend. The last line of this book...just omg. Need book 3 immediately. I hope it makes reading this very mid book worth it.

It's not that extraordinary of a story. Jordan, the main character, is living with her bf Cole. He gets them kicked out of their apartment, and they move in with his dad. She catches him cheating on her, and then she starts an affair with his dad, Pike. They fall in love. When Cole finds out, they break up, and she runs away for a bit, but they end up together, married, with a kid and another on the way. They have a minor story about her ex Jay, who used to hit her, and he was weirdly friends with Cole? Idk why Cole would hang out with him. Cole ends up in the military and meets his own wife. They have a son. It was just okay. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. But it wasn't bad. Just simply ok.

4.25 - I loved the story. Nolan had me kicking and giggling so much. Mallory was so oblivious to things I wanted to pull my hair out, yet she was hilarious. The ending was super rushed, which dropped my rating significantly. I also think that as a YA book, the content was too adult for being labeled YA. Still highly recommend reading.

Excellent book. It was different from the movie version. Janine didn't even have a big fight scene at the end, like in the movie. But I loved the story, and all the characters were super interesting. I'm excited to continue the series

Really good book. There were some parts that had me eye rolling. But overall, really enjoyed it and want to read the rest of the series.
