3.5 - better than the first two books because there is actually a plot. Loved the cliffhanger ending.

This book is a 3.5, but since we can't give half stars, I'm gonna rate it a 4 on here. The book was VERY slow compared to the first book, The Fourth Wing, and it made it very hard to finish. I think a good 1/3 of the book was unnecessary. The ending had me shook, and I'm excited to see what happens in the 3rd book. Hopefully, that one is less dull lmao. After Violet gets tortured, it was much easier for me to read. Definitely not gonna read it again for sure.

4.5 - This book was really good. I read it in one sitting. Really cute characters and storyline. It didn't change my life or anything like a 5 star rated book would do. But I would definitely recommend it to friends.

It's very boring. The only interesting part for me was the games, and once that was over, the book dragged for me hard-core. The book was completely unnecessary, but I did enjoy learning how Snow was so influential to how the games became how they were when Katniss joined. Snow is evil, possessive, and a psychopath...we knew that though. I'm glad Lucy got away. I don't honestly recommend reading this. You don't need to.

This book was chaotic. Alex is literally the worst... even worse than Ben in November 9th... that's saying something. He lied to her for 8 years, stalked her, threatened her, killed people for her...actually insane. Ava is a moron for being with him idc how hot he is. This might be one of the worst books I've ever read. It would be a crime to rate this above a 1 star.

Anyone who likes this book needs therapy. I clearly need therapy. I read this entire book today while sick with a cold and could barely put it down. This book was nastyyyyy. Vile. Gross. But I loved it. Lord, help me.

Kaleb...I was obsessed with him as soon as his character made his grand entrance. A hot boy who doesn't speak. Sign me up. I love a man who stays silent. When he would put his hand to his chest to call Tiernan his...sobbing.

I'm glad the book had a happy ending because I would have been pissed if it didn't.

But yeah, I should book a therapy session after this book. Clearly, I need it. Immediately. Stat. Pronto. I will never look at cracked car windows the same.

This is a solid 5⭐️ romance novel for me. The main character, Layla Thompson, is extremely likable. She's not good at dating - like tragically terrible at it. It's almost hard to read sometimes, lol. She designs lingerie, has her own successful business, and is very busy. I almost feel bad for the girl. She was stressing most of the book.

But, luckily, she has 3 good-looking single male best friend neighbors who have a single guys podcast that have come up with an idea to help her... where they ALL date her. Yep. All of them. It's wild. Their plan is to originally have Zach and Josh fake date her to help her know how to date, kiss, and have satisfying lovemaking. They wanna use their time together also for a podcast segment about their fake dating. Which Layla agrees to and even participates in the podcast. Luke is hesitant to join in because of their past but eventually gives in.

Now let's learn about our leading men...

First, you got Zach, who is struggling with the death of his first love, has a man bun, and uses adorable nicknames for her. Then you have Luke, who was her old teacher in high school. Poor Lukey also suffered through a rough divorce with his see you next tuesday ex-wife Amy. Amy is also marrying Josh - our last male's brother Rob - and Josh has been in love with Layla for years. Poor guy has it baaaaad.

There is a lot of plot, lots of spice, and lots of drama. They deal with issues with the podcast, them all trying to help Layla learn how to date, one of Layla's bullies from high school harassing her, drama with Amy interferring with their relationship, you learn about how the high-school was hiding complaints against students, etc. Like i said, there is lots of plot. Even breakups happen. But dont worry... Layla finds the love she was looking for. Loved the ending!

You also got a lot of spice

1.5 - this entire book could have been easily not happened if the boys just simply asked Erika if she posted the videos online. I hate this trope. I hate when writers make decisions like these. It makes the whole book feel useless. I also do not like how violent all of the men were. It wasn’t cute or fun to read. I felt like I was pulling teeth out with pliers reading this whole book. The only reason I’m not rating it lower is because there were some entertainment at the end on the boat. Other than that…this book is hot garbage and I would never read it again.

This is basically a brunette Taylor Swift smut novel, and it was super boring. Basically, I skimmed read it after 60%... nothing interesting happened. Wouldn't recommend reading it.
