Sobbing. Crying all the tears feeling all the feels. This book is SO GOOD. The plot, the characters, the emotions. Everything. The only downside to me is that the characters were very quirky which took me a while to adjust to but it wasnt a detraction. LOVE I WANT MORE

Absolutley amazing sequel/finale that I could not put down. Hunter and Ivy are perfect. This book has been on my mind since I finished. I need more, Elle!

Alright, I really liked this novella. I may have even liked it more than book 2? Here are my thoughts on this series. All of the major action and suspense takes place in book one. Books 2 and 2.5 are Jonah and Calla living their lives and facing every day life problems. So if you like Gilmore Girls or the office, pretty anti-climactic but still enjoyable shows, then the whole series is for you. But, if you need a gripping plot, then just call it after book one.

My biggest takeaway from this book is “Dang Aimee and B know how to map out character arcs.”
When this book started I said “HA, this is going to be fun” in the sense of: this relationship is neither an insta-love nor a “oh we’re mates this all magically works.” NO. These characters had to WORK for their ending. One wrong move and boom, byeee. Nothing was guaranteed here.
Reading this book and watching their journeys honestly felt like being a fly on the wall in a therapist’s office. I smiled so much seeing each of them step, grow, and develop.
Each of them are STUBBORN individuals in the beginning. And they try to make co-existing work. Well. Two stubborn individuals cannot co-exist without compromise. So they’re left with: do I stay stubborn or do I loosen and sacrifice for the sake of the other? Anyone who is STUBBORN knows this question all too well. Well they sprayed some WD40 on themselves and figured out how to stay true to one’s self while also sacrificing to meet another’s needs. The Jade and West at the end of this book are SO DIFFERENT from who we meet in chapter one. And thats a good thing. Change is good and healthy and needed in life.
Jade - I can’t even say to her “girl what are you doing” because she has complex trauma.
West - I can’t even say to him “dude get it together” because he’s an alpha.
So how do two complex people, WITH TWO SOULS EACH MIND YOU, with complex pasts make it work? IDK ask Aimee and B, I swear one of them has a psych degree. My psychology inner nerd enjoyed this journey.
