The beginning was a little bit slow, but did pick up as the plot started. It was very well written though.
I did feel the romance needed to build more. It seemed like overnight and they were suddenly kissing.

For starters, this has to be one of my favorites.
The character development of Wallace is a good enough pace to seem genuine and realistic. The balance between comical and serious to straight up sad that almost made me tear up multiple times.
Not a single dull chapter that made you think, is this really important to the story. Everything that happens makes me want more detail.
Not to mention the ending was probably my favorite one, wrapped up beautifully but of course wouldn’t mind a sequel

It’s not a typical mythical story of the great hero Perseus but instead a more realistic telling.
The different point of views and the creative backstory behind each one attention grabbing and told beautifully.
As someone who favorites Perseus of all the hero’s this was kind of a book that makes you go. Huh.

I felt as though it was really a slow plot. It picked up right away from the second book that ended on that cliff hanger.
It felt like 90% of the book was katniss stressing about what’s happening and then getting injured, people being blown up etc.
the ending was very satisfying I will say it wrapped up the story wonderfully

Just as good as the first one, the story kicks off from the end of the first book. The subtle hints throughout the book leading up to the ending. Definitely looking forward to reading the last book!

I love all the detail put into this book, the emotions of how Katniss was handling the hunger games and everything happening around her. I thought the ending was a big sad for Peeta but I’ll be reading the rest of the series! Highly recommend book first before the movie!

I felt like I was in a lecture class, it was informative enough to keep my focus but not something I’d recommend to a friend for everyday listen

A really good background of what exactly made snow the man behind the games in the series. His selfish desires were clear from the beginning but only got worse as the book went on. I really enjoyed it a lot and the movie is really good too!

The relationship between the main and Juan was a bit confusing but sweet to me. Their retellings of stories and people along with their past was sweet too

Informative. Some things in the book I didn’t agree with as I’m just not there to understand it yet mentally. But everything did give me a new prospective of life.
