With so many point of views it really gets you emotionally. Ive read a few other books in the Greeks point of view of the war but this is only the second one of Troy’s prospective and it got me. Even with the somewhat hopeful ending it still is extremely sad and I must say every single book I’ve read of the war I dislike Helen.

It’s written really well, I enjoyed the many mysteries unfolding as the book goes on. The ending was satisfying with justice being found.

With the movie coming out I wanted to read the book first. As someone who considered themselves the fat kid in high school a lot of her insecurities and descriptions of how she was feeling really brought me back in a happy sad way. The ended made me want more of a firework ending.

It piggybacks from the first. There was so much happening in this one I loved it, but at the same time it had be pulling at my hair like give them a break!

I really enjoyed the development of the relationship. How it wasn’t the main point of the plot and it didn’t suddenly go strangers to lovers overnight. It had the tension and build up. I’m looking forward to the second book

I thought the switch was a bit sudden, but I did enjoy how the plot matched up with the previous book but different stories. It kept up with the timeline and made me want more.

Im a sucker for a fake bimbo. I absolutely loved the character development of Jack. The drama and petty things that he did. I have to say Jack is my favorite and his character made this book so enjoyable

At first it was confusing going back and forth with POV of so many different characters, but once understanding the way it’s written it’s very interesting. Super tense too, multiple times I gasped and groaned at the outcome of characters I became to really like.
