Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

I thought that this book was incredible at first, but I have come to not like it. I liked the evolution of Miles’ character and thought that his dynamic with Tate was perfect, but obviously have some issues. It was really good having the different perspectives throughout the book, and I liked how they showed the pain in Miles past, and the pain in Tate’s present. I could not get over the cringey Facebook humor that was used in this book, and I was definitely weirded out by the “sons big balls” line. I do not think that I will be reading this again.
I thought that this book was pretty good! At times, it was a bit slower that I would usually read, but I really enjoyed the overall themes and messages throughout. The ideas of the suffrage movement and including those words in the dictionary felt very empowering, however it sometimes felt unenthusiastic and too slow. Definitely a great read if you’re into historical and contemporary novels. It could have been better or the storyline could have been more developed, but was overall a pretty good read.
I thought this book was really good! The dynamic between Jane and August was absolutely great, and I like how Jane adapted in the new world. I thought that it was well written, and was diverse in the characters. It wasn’t my typical style book that I read, but it was really enjoyable. Longer than some other reads, but one of the only WLW I am aware of. Great read!
This book was good, but so sad! I hated how Ryle wasn’t able to control himself, but I thought the meaning behind the book was very philosophical. Lilly managed to break her cycle of abuse, and I commend her for it. This book had too many cliches for my taste, and the writing style was poor. So far, all of her works seem to be average, but a nice and easy reads. Average read, and would maybe recommend.
Pretty good read! I read this from cover to cover, and absolutely loved it! The character dynamic between Graham and Quinn was absolutely perfect, and I really enjoyed reading about how they evolved over their 10 years together. It was actually disappointing when she had the miscarriage, but this book was so emotional in all of the right ways. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and I will maybe read it again sometime. 8/10.
I thought that book was amazing! The storyline was interesting throughout the whole book, and there were many twists and turns. Unlike a lot of books, I thought this was a great sequel to the first, and they were well connected. The depth of mystery throughout keeps you wanting more, and I was a hard book to put down. I would maybe make the storyline darker, but overall an amazing read!

I loved this book so much!!! I thought Avery’s character was perfect, and her dynamic with each of the Hawthorne grandsons was amazing! The plot and twists throughout the book were surprising, and there is a large cliffhanger at the end of the book. The only thing I would change about the book, would be to make it longer, and darker in nature. Overall, amazing read!
I absolutely loved this! It was a great book, I just wish it could have been longer! I liked the idea that her regrets and mistakes should not dictate her future, and she should focus on the things she can change. Nora had a very full, but challenging life, which I think made her a perfect candidate for the Midnight Library. If I were to change anything, I would make this book longer. Amazing read!!
This was one of Shakespeare’s better plays, but seemed extremely long and unnecessarily drug out. The evolution of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth’s characters was good, but I thought there were often things that weren’t relevant going on. Pretty good plot, but everything at the end felt extremely rushed when it should have the extended material. It is on a similar quality level with Taming of the Shrew, which disappointed me while reading.
Absolutely Amazing! It took me a while to get into it, but it was really good at the end, with lots of action packed adventure. I really liked how Alex was able to think logically throughout the book, and I thought the integration of witchcraft and intelligence was perfect for the dark academia style. Such a strong cliffhanger - can’t wait for the next one!!!
