I loved this so much! I thought the growing-up dynamic between Achilles and Patroclus strengthened their relationship related, and made the end of the novel more touching. I really liked the historical theme about it, and I thought the time progressions added to the character development. I felt so sad by the end of it, but was happy to see character development for Thetis, and she redeemed herself at the very end. Great piece of literature - would definitely read again!

A good book, but the storyline could have been improved if there was more character development on the Cole siblings, if t he challenges were darker (more difficult and dangerous), and if the book was longer. Not a bad read for YA fiction on the younger side, and definitely and quick read. Overall, not a bad book, but could have been improved.

This book was great and a perfect end to the trilogy! It added so much more emotion to the Darkling’s character and tested Mal and Alina’s relationship. The plot twists were great and it was definitely well written!

It was a really good book in this series. I thought it well continued on from the first one, and has left possibilities open for the next. I thought the addition of Nikolai was great for the series, and I thought it was important to see the faults in between Mal and Alina’s relationship. Although the plot may not have been as good or well thought out as the first, it showed more personal insight for the characters, their emotions and weaknesses. Great read!

The lack of character development of the Wilson’s, Gatsby and Carraway led the book to be quite stale and not very enjoyable. The symbolism was great, but it felt short and the ending seemed abrupt.

Loved it, but I wished that they showed more of a romantic connection between Rufus and Mateo.
