Oh this was fun! Pottery, youngin’s & oldies, and Ghost 💜 listened via Hoopla Harrison Memorial 

Phew 😅 I thought this story might be a 3 star for me but! it wasn’t 💜 there was 1 thing I felt was a disservice to the character & the reader & it was the fact that the words chosen for Braithe’s response to Colson’s story about his his former family disowning him; I believe (based on my own experiences & learning) that he enabled Colson in his wallowing, instead of being the listening ear & drawing the line for Colson & then he wouldn’t have floundered for so long afterward. It’s unfortunate bc I’ll not be adding this series to my buy list after all. I’ll keep listening & reading as much of Walker’s backlist as I can but I’m disappointed that I was let down by 2 books of this wonderful small town overall. Listened via Hoopla Harrison Memorial 

As of this ending to this book, it was well worth 5 stars but it lost 1 bc the whole ending & epilogue didn’t sit well with me honestly & IMHO also didn’t hold true with the series up until this one. Anyway, wasn’t a waste of time, again my opinion & I definitely did appreciate Gunter’s age & his relationship with Carl? ugh 😑 my brain retention can be the worst sometimes 😂 listened via Hoopla Harrison Memorial

Second Chance romance for two men who were childhood friends. Not all authors can get this double/triple trope right in a way that doesn’t feel dismissive or disrespectful to the characters. And what a finale for a great series overall including the trilogy that for the best read through ought to be read first IMHO. Listened via Anyplay.

MMM! I have enjoyed this series & each one had its angst filled circumstances, sometimes within the main relationship & others outside of it. I’m about to start the final book & leave Brighton Beach for the first time. Listened via Anyplay.

I’m just…well another new to me author that I’m loving the way they write. The characters they’ve created & I’m not ready to say goodbye 🥺😩 so on to start the final book in this series & it’s been a joy to meet every single character 💜 listened via Hoopla Sac
