Fostering & adoption šŸ˜šŸ˜ so near and dear to my heart. While I kinda understand why the author decided to use Avery for the ā€œdadā€ moment, I personally thought it was underwhelming & not as heart clinching if she had instead used it for Ryder bc of his journey & it definitely wouldā€™ve been much more powerful šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø anyway, Kirt Graves continues to amaze me with his talent. I love Avery & Ryder together & Chris is literally the cherry on top of their family unit. Think I have an idea who the next book is about & Iā€™ll need a break for a bit. Listened via Anyplay.

Wow. This one had a serious punch & while there were plenty of opportunities to chuckle, I was seriously gobsmacked & I honestly felt that the wrap up was rather fast. I like reading about home life in the books I read however I did feel that way too much emphasis was put on the stress of the situation & greatly detracted from my full enjoyment that has been built up by the recent 4 books Iā€™ve read connected with this one. Oooh! Jonahā€™s brother!!! Grief over lost parents/brother/SIL. Found family, tattoo shop, gruff & cooky, kids, smallish coastal town šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜ listened via Anyplay.

This group is just another one that I would love to be a part of. Needs remembering, that Cameron was groomed as an older middle school student & since that was exposed his life has been full of being told he doesnā€™t know who he is. Anyway, Jonah I have been rooting for since book 1 & Iā€™m so glad he got his story told in full as opposed to thru someone elseā€™s. Listened via Anyplay.

Ooh itā€™s rare that I like former bully to lovers but this one was a treat. Loss of a parent on screen so heads up. Listened via Anyplay.

New to me author. Love the pair of Tim Paige & Iggy Toma narrating. This story, has feels & heart, gave me plenty of opportunities for laughter & although I really got frustrated with Murph towards the endā€¦ it finished well & didnā€™t feel rushed. Listened via Anyplay.

Ooh! I liked this one šŸ„° loved being introduced to Gary Furlongā€™s narration & even though Iā€™m totally reading these books out of order, this one has a kid & pets!!! The best of both IMHO & they arenā€™t used often enough in gay romance again my opinion as Iā€™m still broadening my reading of this genre. Anyway, loved that we get a story for Emmett & Ty!!! Definitely felt the author (also new to me) dealt with his mother really well, she even made me mad for a minute. Listened via Anyplay.

Well, I knew I would come across one story that disappointed me. Auden didnā€™t grovel AT ALL & Carter definitely deserved that even though he was still battling his feelings due to Audenā€™s 2nd fu in 15+ years. And donā€™t get me started on how Auden only acknowledges his momā€™s toxic advice has been to his detriment. I get that everything canā€™t always be perfect especially in a contemporary story, however this one while I did love Carter & Auden individually; it rubbed me the wrong way & honestly was WAY too long for a story that basically had its moments written easily. I also especially hated Auden through much of this book bc he kept judging Carter based on actions from high school. šŸ™„ Carterā€™s dad actually apologized & Auden didnā€™t really. Ugh, Iā€™m done picking this apart even though I could say more. Listened via Anyplay.

Goodness. I honestly like reading series like this with a whole bunch of authors that Iā€™m either not familiar with or havenā€™t read much of their backlist. Iā€™m almost done here & so far Iā€™ve really enjoyed each story. What I liked about this book was that for Jasper, it was a second chance at love & for Liam, it was learning about himself & realizing that if he was going to consider himself an adult then he had to stand up & say so. Really liked how the author handled both characters & their individual stories. The grief, parental oppression & Devon, Emmett & Tyler being nosy but caring, even when it was gruff. Listened via Anyplay. New to me author & while a few instances got me iffy on finishing it, Iā€™m glad I stuck with it & really liked the epilogue, like really really liked how the author gave us readers the HEA we needed.
