Clarity of Lines by N.R. Walker

K, so yeah the story continues & there is a loss of a parent. But Tom & Cooper are perfectly imperfect for each other & no one can persuade them otherwise. Love it. Listened via Hoopla

Age Gap. But a good fit I think, though they definitely need to go through a few life hurdles to be truly serious about each other. And that’s what books 2 & 3 are for. Listened via Hoopla

This was fun & a runaway dog as the catalyst? Perfect. Loved the surfer landlord, she is a firecracker. Listened via Hoopla

Okay…what happened in the gym office made me cry ugly tears. But this story so needed to be told!! All the stars. Listened via Hoopla

OMG I think I need & want a physical copy of this book!! This gave me serious Signed, Sealed, Delivered vibes except of course not hetero 😊 anyway, this day group of characters were kooky & just the right ones to make up this version of “the dead letter office”. So much fun & towards the end so heartwarming. Don’t want to give anything away…

This was fantastic! There were a few moments where I remembered that what I was reading was Walker’s work. This was entertaining yet complex & while I forget the delineation between high fantasy & low fantasy, I believe it falls somewhere in between. I really liked the four kingdoms & the use of astronomy as well as the zodiac signs. Listened via Hoopla Sac
The Dichotomy of Angels by N.R. Walker
4.5
Well this one definitely required suspended belief - mostly in this specific case, bc the story is about angels & the heavenly realm. I did greatly appreciate the Father saying what he did about one’s relationship with the Most High. Happy that the MMCs relationship carried on in hel & not just on earth. Listened via Hoopla Sac
Blindside: Mark's Story by N.R. Walker, Michael Pauley

Best Friends to Lovers *superior trope/subtrope in my opinion* Mark’s story!!!! OMG I just wanted to alternately smack Mark & smother him those 2 awful days. I’m sad to leave Boston but it’s ended on a high note & I am happy. Listened via Hoopla Sac

Wow. This trilogy isn’t the first I’ve read that has a blind MC & while Issac is very good at playing that he’s great most of the time, he’s also an a-hole to the tenth degree with Carter & his sister Hannah (Hanna?). Anyway, by the end I’m really glad the author wrote Carter’s vehemence about therapy for Issac & for their relationship. I’m sorry if that’s a spoiler but the more I read of gay fiction in any genre & subgenre this isn’t the case. I haven’t (to my knowledge) had the pleasure of meeting a blind person, but as an empathetic person I can definitely imagine the struggles I’m sure many go through including a circumstance like what was depicted in this book. It makes my heart hurt. Anyway, on to book 3 with these two & who knows what might lurk between the pages 😂 listening via Hoopla Sac
