Personally felt like this had so much more potential

The writing is there
The plot line is solid (ish)
But the general book drags, making the overall experience slow going

This has the typical trope of she’s too young for me which throws me off, a good daddy trope shouldn’t have it so that there’s regret

The whole boyfriends dad is *chefs kiss* but this delivery wasn’t as good as I hoped it would be

cries in daddy issues

Oh my god this got me so hard

Estranged from my own dad anything like that pulls hard on the emotions. This book does deal with grief so tread carefully

I’m loving all the cowboys rec
If you’re in your ‘era’ don’t sleep on this one !

This was a hard one for me to rate but I think it settles well with four.

- single mom
- hidden identity
- on the run
- why choose

I found that anytime something deep happened it immediately led into a s*xual scene that didn’t flush well, when things like this are talked about deeply it didn’t sit right to throw that in there and call it ‘healing’

This is a duet, and the second one starts off a few months after the first one ends.

Overall it’s a good 900 page read, prepare to get cozy and head into Briar Valley on Sept 27th!

This was definitely something different that I don’t usually read but was intriguing nonetheless.

It follows multiple POV’s throughout an ever-changing earth and has just as much surprises.

I did find some things anticlimactic and others added that didn’t technically need to be there (like the drúgs on the ship the first time when they attacked, but again I get it)

If SCI-FI , aliens , end of the world isn’t your type of reads this won’t be for you.

It’s also not a standalone !

YES.

You have to add this to your TBR.

While there is a romance aspect to it there is no spicy scenes and it’s slooooowwww burn.

This was purely apocalypse themed and I was THERE.FOR.IT

I want to say more but I can’t because this is an advanced copy so I will re edit on release day but YES.

Yes. Read this.

This book really sucked me in but I felt like it didn’t really focus on reconnecting with her family and more reconnecting with her ex

It’s a good read

This was a fast paced, insta lust age gap read.

I love the tropes but personally hate when the main characters bicker about how wrong it is to want the other due to the age gap.
