Everything turned out OK for our main characters in the end, but it was clear that the evil wasn’t ultimately defeated and all is not right in the world. So, our characters are OK, but bad things are gonna keep happening to other people. Also… the dog dies. :(

This was a cute read. My favorite part were all the little Beauty and the Beast references/quotes and the reference to Fangirl made me laugh! This is the third book in a series. However, I did not read the first two and it works 100% fine as a standalone.
