What should I do with myself now...
My lord these two drives you up the wall with their snark, frenemie vibes and the s*xual tension.
It escapes no one that Kevin hates Hank in the beginning of this book and that Hank at the same time is attracted to Kevin. Which in turn makes for an funny and somewhat heated storyline.
I get where Kevin is coming from, Hank treated Kevin's best friend like s*it in the beginning of the first book. And Kevin can't seem to let that go, even if Lukas and Hank has buried the axe and are now friends. Then the fact that Kevin's body and heart seem utterly attracted to Hank makes his brain hurt and confused.
These 2 are the epitome of frenemies to lovers and I adore thier story. The will they, won't they aspect is gold. And the bookshop dates utter perfection.
Also the beginning of chapter 11, when Kevin has to tell Lukas, that he is dating Lukas ex, is one of the most hilarious openings to a chapter I have ever read. I snorted and laughed so hard I had to pause the audio to calm myself down.
The fact that the only thing Hnk really wants is to take care of Kevin and give him everything he could ever want. *swoon*

Oh my lord!
I am still fanning myself. This was such a hot listen.
I am a newbie when it comes to audiobooks but this one really makes me want to continue with then when I don't have time to sit down reading.
The way Lukas and John circle around eachother in the beginning. Lukas having been in love with his dad's best friend John for years, is starting to realise maybe it is time to give up and move on. But then his pipes burst and John lending a helping hand, this starts something that non of them will regret.
John is miserable, having been divorced for many years he feels like maybe his "finding love" timeline is over. But there is one thing though... The last couple of months he has been having a hard time keeping thoughts about his best friends son out of his mind, mind you they are not of the pure kind. And when they finally kiss there is no return.
The book is spicy as f*ck and listening to the story made it even hotter.
I liked Kirt Graves narration and I am looking forward to listening to the next book in the series that he also is narrating.

I am a sucker for an redemption arc and boy did we get one.
This book is heavy and absolutely not for everyone. It's a though read but if you take it for what it is, an story about bullying gone wrong but also about actually growing up and learning and forgiving. Then you will enjoy this book.
Both Charlie and Justin are broken but not broken beyond repair and that is why I felt like this could work. Even if thier past is heavy and dark the light both carry within themselves makes the journey easier.
I could sit here and say why should Charlie forgive Justin for his harsh words, that nearly took Charlie's life? But than again who am I to decide how a person should or shouldn't react 10-15 odd years later when both of them have been through the wringer. I condemn bullying to the highest degree but I am also human enough to see when forgiveness should be given. And I think this is exactly what Charlie does. And I am happy he gave Justin a chance to better himself. Not just for his peace of mind but also for Justin's peace. Because man has he struggled, as we have seen in the Rebel Sky series.
I am invested in Wild Heart Ranch now and I will need to read the rest of them soon.

Ohhh Wick, Wick, Wick. Finally we get what makes you tick and what hurt you have been hiding. You may be the biggest flirt (cough cough) but the jealousy you go through seeing Joaquin and Colt togheter without you is a marvel to read. I enjoyed getting to know the two men that tries to capture your heart and the way that you all seem to just click. Even if you are kicking and screaming the whole way to the end.
The heat the three of you give of is top notch but also the vulnerability drags you in and I wanted to shield all of you from the potential hurt.
Colt is just precious and Joaquin is steadfast and a wonderful man.

I have wondered how this part of the story would go, and I am not disappointed. This book has the delicate balance of grief, letting go and finding love again. Even if that live is with your much younger brother in law.
Wyatt's grief is palpable and you feel for him. But you also understand the slight resentment he has for the situation he is in.
Dez situation is a bit harder though, he has been in love with his sisters husband for years and when she tragically passes away he doesn't know what to do. And the story we get out of this is beautiful and funny but at the same time so sad.
I am falling deeper in love with all of the characters and Kelly keeps introducing new characters with a lot of love to give but with sometimes harder pasts to get away from.
This is definitely a hurt/comfort, slight taboo, age gaps story for the win.

This enemies-to-lovers has a bit of everything. Some hate, a lot of love, spice and heat with a dash of misunderstandings, stubbornness and conversations to make things better.
Sparrow, foreman at Rebel Sky is not happy when injured rodeo star Luke decides to turn up and volunteer at the ranch as a part in his recovery.
Luke after his accident just wants some time to heal. But working with Sparrow makes him more hot then anything, it is just a pity that Sparrow won't give him the time of day.
This is slow burn-ish at it's finest. I understand where both characters are coming from in turns of entering a relationship even with it just being s*x in the beginning.
The more I read of Kelly Fox's Rebel Sky world the more I fall in love. And I know I have some heavy but satisfactory books left.

This book is sweet, soft, spicy, a bit sad and hilarious at the same time. I don't know how many times this book made me snort with laughter. Luckily for me I live alone otherwise I would have gotten looks for sure.
Sam, the femme cam boy with the hugest crush on Trip.
Trip the cowboy that doesn't really know himself and his desires, but knows that Sam is special. They mesh so well, because they do start out as friends and they do have the hard conversations and that creates the trust they need. This book could been seen as a slow burn but still there is heat in the spice before they end up in bed together and I have to say the journey there is the fun bit.
But the book is not only about the romance, it is about the ranch Rebel Sky and it's horses and people. And the love they have for the land, animals and eachother.
This is the perfect read if you want a little bit of everything but with a heavy dose of laughter.

You would think some Christmas in July would cool you down. But no this one was hot.
A fast and short read, this is book 4,5 in Kelly Fox's series Rebel Sky Ranch. I haven't read the previous books but I know what I am going to be reading tonight. There are several laugh out loud moments mixed with some smallish angst and a lot of heat. If the other books are anything like this one I will devour them fast.
Tanner, a goth kitten, decides to volunteer for the towns Christmas beautification project and there he teams up with Junior, a Rebel Sky Ranch hand, and sparks fly. This book is k*nky light and they do explore some fun dynamics in bed.
I enjoyed it and I hope you also will.
