I have wondered how this part of the story would go, and I am not disappointed. This book has the delicate balance of grief, letting go and finding love again. Even if that live is with your much younger brother in law.

Wyatt's grief is palpable and you feel for him. But you also understand the slight resentment he has for the situation he is in.
Dez situation is a bit harder though, he has been in love with his sisters husband for years and when she tragically passes away he doesn't know what to do. And the story we get out of this is beautiful and funny but at the same time so sad.

I am falling deeper in love with all of the characters and Kelly keeps introducing new characters with a lot of love to give but with sometimes harder pasts to get away from.

This is definitely a hurt/comfort, slight taboo, age gaps story for the win.
