I have no idea how, but I have shifted to favoring Pippa and Arjun more than Celine and Bastien

This was a beautiful novel. While I wanted things to be different and I hated the heaviness of some of the issues/topics, I still believe this was a great book. The writing was so good and I loved the way the story was told. I'm always skeptical when a book gets a lot of hype, but this one did not disappoint.

This had a great message. I felt like it could've been shorter though. I could see this becoming a movie.

I was not expecting the murderer to be who it was, so I appreciate that it wasn't as predictable. The end was definitely the closure I needed, and I'm glad McManus saved that last statement from the murderer for that ending.

I completely understand the hype around this book. My heart is so full after reading this! I love these characters and I'm normally not a fan of the friends to lovers trope, but here it was done so well.
