Old Western romance between a mail order bride and a doctor in Wyoming. It had humor, very mild intimate scenes, and depicted the wild west from the viewpoint of two black people and the challenges of racism at that time in history.
Regan is a strong, confident FMC. I loved her spirit. She was progressive for this time period. I found the romance kinda boring and the story dragged, but it had cute moments.

Spoilers about the things I didnโt care for:
Marcus forcing himself onto her in regard to kissing. And when Marcus still sleeps with her while she is inebriated ๐ like dude, you are an earl and supposedly a gentleman, yet you have taken advantage of this woman twice. Just didnโt like it.
Also, does anyone else hate when they describe the female part with โhe parted her dark curlsโ โ just ick. I know at this time they didnโt shave, but I donโt really need to think about it. ๐คข๐คข๐คข
