My least favorite of the series, so far. Lillian was a fiesty FMC and I enjoyed her character very much. I am going to move on from this one to the book everyone talks about — book 3 Devil In Winter ❄️

Spoilers about the things I didn’t care for:

Marcus forcing himself onto her in regard to kissing. And when Marcus still sleeps with her while she is inebriated 😒 like dude, you are an earl and supposedly a gentleman, yet you have taken advantage of this woman twice. Just didn’t like it.

Also, does anyone else hate when they describe the female part with “he parted her dark curls” — just ick. I know at this time they didn’t shave, but I don’t really need to think about it. 🤢🤢🤢
