One of my favorite series as a child. Revisiting it brings back so many memories of the worlds that Pendragon spawned in my head.
The Merchant of Death is a nostalgic and easy read, but the teenage boy diary POV of Bobby can be painful to read. Luckily this is a very fast book to get through and just sets things off. Excited for more character development further into the series.

By far the darkest book of the series so far. One of my daughters actually exclaimed “I can’t believe that this is in a book for kids!” over a scene towards the end of the book.
Dreary and lightless, makes for a bit less of a fun read compared to the earlier books, but intriguing enough to battle through. Could’ve done without the excessive use of Foreman Flacutono shouting “midgets!” in a derogatory fashion though.

Quick one sitting read. A more than satisfactory random thrift of mine. Beautiful 80s artwork by “Garcia”. As I don’t read much that is strictly sci-fi, part 1 was a bit lackluster and mildly confusing, but part 2 developed into a fast paced, comedic but intriguing jaunt with rapid fire romantic connection that made me chuckle audibly! A worthwhile afternoon endeavor

Just… unbelievably good. Similar flow to TWoK with extensive work put into building the direction of the story that sucks you in, and then the last 200 pages pulls the rug out from under you again and again. Continually amazed with the quality of writing and world building in this series. Desperate to continue.
