ive read this book in albanian before when i was a little kid but couldnt find the physical copy i used to have so i started it in english online. the feeling i get when i remember some scenes is so awesome, yet there are some things i dont remember at the same time. i really love this feeling.
should i say anything more? its just as good of a book now as it was when i read it for the first time as a child! it was one of the very first books i read that actually made me feel something.

i just reread my 4.5β˜† review and i lied to yall so let me be honest this time:
this book gave me the ick. not as much as "the hating game" but it definitely wasnt all that. this one was sorta cute, but so cringe and idk bro. idk why i gave it such a high rating the first time i mustve felt bad or smth cuz aint no way it deserves anyhing more than 3β˜†. wasnt horrendous, but wasnt good either.

it was all awesome and fine and dandy but i hate the writing so much cuz the story/the plot is so amazing and had way more potential if it was written differently. unfortunately i saw so many parts where the writer shouldve showed and not told and it wouldve been way better if the things werent just put so simply like "this person died" or something plain like that. it was amazing either way, though, but the plot is definitely the thing that makes this book good - not the writing. i feel like i can ignore that since the book is just so good, but it couldve been better. it couldve been perfect, even.

most of my review is spoiling so ill put the whole thing under the warning thingy

loved the story and i LOVED the way it was taryn speaking to jude, but in the end it turns out she was practicing in the mirror "until you stop looking at me that way when i finish" but shes looking at her own self, seeing jude. absolutely amazing holly black is just so ?!??!,Γ·,Γ—*#(!(# theres no words for it just- yeah. also i finally found out what cardan said to make taryn cry: "oh now i see why locke likes you. youre awful. and the worst part is you believe otherwise." chef's kiss

why is this one of the best books ive ever read? i was a bit hesitant at first, since the main character is an animal (which im not used to at all) but my dad recommended jack london to me as he is one of his favourite writers. i understand why now.

i cant give the book more than 4 stars cuz it took me so long and i found it so incredibly hard to read that it just ended up being boring for the middle of it. it picked up its pace and then it was awesome. its not bad in general and i love the plot. some sentences can be questionable though?

maybe not really a spoiler but still: i love nessian sm 🫢🏻
