i actually really loved these. definitely heavy on the horror side and they were very very creepy but very entertaining to read.

in most of the chapters the same thing keeps happening but in a different way. the last chapter was different/shocking.

the book in itself is good and the themes treated were pretty well-described but im struggling to rate it any higher cuz i had a bit of difficulty reading it (which i would probably blame on my rusty german skills).

it was fun to read. i love greek mythology and the book was well written. it just... didnt really stick out to me. as good as the writing is the plot itself was kinda meh :/
maybe i expected another song of achilles, but that was an incredible book. this one was just okay. it was definitely not bad, but not amazing either.

also the ending was quite anticlimatic in my opinion. im still mostly in confusion and didnt really get to enjoy the last couple of pages. i got my hopes up for it and unfortunately got let down.
