i LOVED it but i just dont have the time these days and its a very long book which i cant really go through. i might come back to it some day.

honestly i got it from the public library in like october or smth idk and it just... didnt really hook me from the start. the author sounds amazing and her writing is decent especially for a first novel but idk... i dont have much time to read and this book just didnt give me that "omg i need to clear some time to read at least a chapter" type of feeling. simply didnt captivate me, thats all. i should probably return it soon.

english: the books contains beautiful poems of a love story, written in albanian language. i got it from the author himself, who is a very wise and inspiring old man. im in love with the writing which invokes the feelings of the writer in the readers themselves. i look up to and admire him very much <3

short, sweet read. the "plot-twist" endings seemed cool to me. its a good read to help reach ur reading goal since its bite-sized and interesting enough to read in one sitting.

its beginning to get annoying and besides it was taken down on the site where i was reading it and i cant find it anymore so im not even gonna try tbh

the amount of annotations i made is actually insane, and most of them were: "ouch" ":(" or "</3". i loved seeing xie lian's backstory though and mxtx is crazy in character developement and personality building idek how to explain it but just seeing xie lian's personality so in depth and his character shown so clearly just hits the spot. 10/10

this is a perfect book guys. if you need something short and evocative to spice up your reading list put this at the very top. it seriously blew me away and i find these kinds of books and the writing style 100% my cup of tea. idk where alix has been all my life but ill definitely look for her other works as well. it was just incredible. even if you dont like this kind of style its just short enough to try it out, and if you do then its a sweetly paced piece to eat in one bite. 10/10

yo i started the first book thinking it was a standalone about circuses. BOY is it getting so complicated and SO far from that help 😭 im not so sure im liking it but the worldbuilding is insane so i gotta give the author props for that.

lowered the rating just cuz of the abnormal amount of blatant mysogyny. otherwise its phenomenal and just how i like my literature: clever writing of a perfectly horrific plot which is confusing and creepy at the same time. shame it had to be ruined tho. still, 'twas pretty good.
