Lovedddd itttttt! I love a love triangle, especially when there's a tortured shadow daddy - I found alot of plot points kind of predictable, but it didn't make them any less fun! Can't wait to see what happens next.

A well-paced tale that follows a mother-daughter relationship; what is expected of them, their reality, and the generational trauma that can accompany them. I found the main character Tamar interesting and loved the slow decline into horror.

I went into this one a big fan of the author's other works - and I did really love this story. This biggest thing that stopped this one from being 5 stars for me was the romantic plot - i just wasn't feeling it. It's probably a me thing! But the world, MCs, and plot are killer, and I'm excited to read the rest of the series and see where it goes.

A perfect YA fantasy! I loved all the MCs and the world is well built. Good romantic tropes - 'who hurt you', concealed identity, forced proximity, injury.

Loved the storyline - it was definitely an info-dump of a book though. I liked the many POVs but it did sometimes get disorienting. Otherwise it was enj yable and what I expected!

A cute supernatural rom-com! I enjoyed the MMC but I did find the MFC harder to empathize with - she just rubbed me the wrong way I suppose. That said, I did still enjoy it and would recommend as a lighthearted read!

Read this one in a day - I couldn't put it down. Annie's development and growth is riveting - as she grows and questions her existence, she has more and more emotions that conflict with her coding. I found her so well written and will be thinking about this one for awhile!

If I Stopped Haunting You by Colby Wilkens

Did not finish book. Stopped at 17%.
I just couldn't get into it - Pen's character was a bit too 'woe is me' for me to connect with and the repetitive writing about motivations felt like I was being told too much rather than discovering it.
