I love this whole story line and series, but this book was entirely too long for what it accomplished. All of the scenes with Kolis could have been boiled down to a few chapters, rather than 70% of the book. I would have loved to see more of the story advance with more characters rather than it really drilling home how awful Kolis is. I got it the first time around.

3.5 star audiobook. I listened to the audiobook and the narrator did a great job. I love this series but I struggled a bit with the pacing of the story. I do understand that the author needed to provide information for the story progression but I personally struggle with info dumps but I do like knowing some of the information.

It ended so nicely. It was a great read all the way through. It took me two days. It was so good. Ms. Armentrout is great at her craft.

An entertaining read as always! These books aren’t works of literary master pieces, but they always leave me happy and entertained, and sometimes that’s more important. At times it felt a bit like a filler book, and it could have been shortened by 100 pages… like most of her books.
