Another amazing book in an amazing series. Seriously, everyone should just go out and buy all five books in this series and then read them. These books are just that good.

I am giving this book 4 stars for so many reasons. I am trying to keep this review short, though, so I will only highlight the main one: it showed me God’s heart for me as my Shepherd. Because Amos is a shepherd, we get an inside look into what it meant to look after sheep and the love that their shepherd feels towards them. Among many other positive qualities, the book was enrapturing and well written. Very beautifully done.

God bless,
Kaya :)

The Hebrew prophet Amos was a shepherd and tended figs. He prophesied against the Northern Kingdom of Israel shortly before their captivity. This historical fiction book helps his story come alive. I appreciate the glimpse into life in those times.

I follow the GoodReads rating system not the Amazon rating system.
1 star – didn’t like it
2 stars – it was OK

4 stars – really liked it
5 stars – it was amazing; I’ll read it over and over and/or it will impact my daily life.
