I am giving this book 4 stars for so many reasons. I am trying to keep this review short, though, so I will only highlight the main one: it showed me God’s heart for me as my Shepherd. Because Amos is a shepherd, we get an inside look into what it meant to look after sheep and the love that their shepherd feels towards them. Among many other positive qualities, the book was enrapturing and well written. Very beautifully done.
