I enjoyed this book nonetheless, but it felt more like a coffee table reads were you browse through it and read whatever and some part are really entertaning and you question yourself as why you're reading this other part.

I gave 3 stars for the overall item. Some part are 5 stars like the sweatpants diaries, but I forced myself to get through other bits.

If you're a fan of grace read her other book: it's fantastic. If you like fashion too: read this one too.
But if you're looking for some chef d'oeuvre might want to skip it.

So, um the intro. OUCH OUCH OUCH. Poor Grace. I’m super proud of her for coming out and talking about her issues, but was not prepared for it to start that harshly. (Also, content warning if ED stuff is an issue for you)

So I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from this book. Grace had talked about being a tomboy as opposed to a beauty guru on Sophia Amaroso's podcast. I’m not a tomboy at all, so I was curious about this book. I loved it. I liked the product tips. I liked the peek into fetus Grace. (Fun fact: My dad was an Avon lady for years). As a lover of red carpets, I really liked the peek behind the curtain. Her mother Teresa’s advice is adorable.

THIS BOOK! The book was HILARIOUSLY ENTERTAINING! It was cheesy and cute and stylish and I could literally feel Grace Helbig pouring in my hands from the pages. I'm so happy I read this because I only felt closer to her!

"It wasn't the worst"

I really enjoy her videos, and sometimes that humor translated well to the written page and other times it fell flat. The photography is awesome. Grace is beautiful which never hurts. The best part of the whole book in my opinion was the diary of Sweatpants.

I listened to this on audiobook just because I love Grace, her sense of humor and sarcasm and wanted to listen to the book exactly as she intended it to sound to the reader. I think I liked the first book a bit better so I'm giving this a solid 3.75/5 stars.

While entertaining and easy to read (with a few inside jokes for her YouTube subscribers) I ultimately found it a bit repetitive. There were a lot of listicles about senseless things, which started out funny, but after a while they all started to sound the same.
But still, an enjoyable light read.
